I like it. We have great jazz bars in my town.

I like to rock climb and backpack. Kind of depends what you mean by leisure, but I like to do food gardening, and volunteer for work at parks.

You should become a gardener.  They can make good money.

I don't actually like manicured flower gardens, I have huge wildflower patches that I just let go wild. I barely even weed around vegetables....

You can do it for a hobby not necessarily for money.

If this is a career opportunity for you, and you are thinking of this, then flesh it out.

Without talking to you in person I would not be able to give any specific advice.

It's an lowkey an excellent question; the gorila is more muscular probably smarter and partially biped, but the bear have strong claws and bite.

Gorrila only has a single overhand strike and although it's got a strong bite, they are herbivores. So, that means small arsenal of attacks and no strong will to really inflict deadly damage. Bear wins easilly

For leisure, I do freestyle rapping, philosophy discussions, and improv. That's the unusual stuff.

Other than that, pretty normal: sports, video games, reading

Who are your favorite rappers or hip hop acts?

Nice! Setting is cool as hell. Never could get into Jazz though. There's something about it that lures me in, and then I'm just "I gotta get away from this", lol. I like blues.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

@Joshe  I posted this video which is 13 years old just to kinda show where I had my start, although I have been playing trumpet since I was 10 years old.

That's so unbelievably stage green, you don't even like customized gardens cause of human interference/capitalism, lol. I'd probably be stage green also if I was living like that

You have to realize everyone is full of shit, especially people you have not met in real life in person.

@Schizophonia good thread idea.

Every couple years I move cities. Ever since getting a university degree in geology, I've made a ritual of exploring all the local river beds and mountains in the city I lived in. I've done this in New York, Arizona, Virginia, Arizona, Utah, and now Korea. Even Alaska and Mongolia a bit. I take a notebook and a compass, and try to make sense of the environment from scratch. It's so fun! Will share photos soon

Also, learning Mandarin. Just starting but know about a dozen expressions. It's a fulfilling project.

I wanted to share this just to give an idea of a start.  I think I was about 35 here.  I'm 48 now.

Im 49, I wonder who's the oldest person here lol

One thing i love doing for leisure is simply to go chill in a coffee shop. I seem to trip on that vibe of being around a lot of people. My wife is the opposite, she can hardly go into a mall.
