What to do when limiting beliefs could be true? What do I do? (Help!)

Looks matter --> But Leo adopted the belief that it doesn't matter to do pick-up successfully.

Sleep matters --> But to get over insomnia, you must stop believing its important (because then you put less pressure on it).

Erection Quality Matters --> But putting it on the pedestal can stress you out and cause you to have erections issues.

I am battling insomnia, and I have know I have to let go of my beliefs of how I think it impacted my health so far..

But because I put so much value on truth, its hard to give myself permission to do that. I seriously don't know what to do, on one hand I really don't want to lie to myself, but also want to overcome life's challenges which would be easier if I adopted certain beliefs.

I feel like everyone will go through a situation like this, and I haven't heard any solutions on how to handle this situation well, so guys let's discuss.

Actually guys Leo posted a blog about this already and addressed this in a blog post,

https://www.actualized.org/blueprint/limiting-beliefs

I feel like in this article he even says " you take on a lot of negative beliefs about how the world works, or the concept of truth loses value for you, you will get in trouble at some point"

How do you gauge, or is there a framework where I can concretely say this belief I should adopt despite the fact that it may not be true.

Looks matter and you can still be successful with girls even if you're not good looking.

Valditate the belief and then challange the belief with evidence that it is not always true in all situations.

The truth of your historical record and situation is true, but it’s irrelevant. The truth to honor is that worrying about insomnia and revisiting your historical record is preventing you from solving the problem. The solution is to disengage and ignore certain thoughts. Stop feeding them because that’s the only way they survive - by you compulsively acknowledging them. This is being intentional about what you’re cultivating. If someone has crippling social anxiety, they’ll never overcome it so long as they keep acknowledging the “truth” that they suck and reliving their cringe. As long as they keep feeding those thoughts, they don’t stand a chance.

I’ve often asked myself a similar question about my own cynicism. “How can I not be cynical when I see the truth of humanity? The truth creates the cynicism, not me. This is just a normal reaction to what is true”. This is all true, but I know that if I continue to see in this way, it will degrade my quality of life. Choosing to not feed my cynicism isn’t choosing to ignore what is true. It’s choosing a different truth that serves something other than my compulsion.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

What is your point, don't complicate things for yourself  take them out of your head. The reason you value truth is because some belief is attached to it. Truth is not Snow White. Either test your beliefs the hard way, or accept them and live like everyone else.
