What's your lowest breakthrough dose, and what's your guaranteed breakthrough dose ?

Maybe the first question is how do you distinguish or define a breakthrough

17 mg is a guaranteed breakthrough for me. It could be lower than that, but I haven't tried.

These days 10mg would be more than a breakthrough for me.

But for most people not.

The more it is done the less the dose required. 25-30mg is what a normie needs. Don't vape that much. This is for plugging. And even plugged it's crazy intense.

What even is a breakthrough? What distinguishes a strong trip from a breakthrough trip ?

Well, it's a matter of how you wish to define it. But for me a breakthrough is when you trip so hard that you break out of the human experience so much that it feels like you discovered a new reality. A complete transcendence of human life. You become so conscious you stop being human.

All breakthroughs are strong trips, but not all strong trips are breakthroughs.

@Loveeee I breakthrough on 20 + grams of shrooms. It felt like I was a creature or something doing something so foreign that I cant understand. It felt like I was in a different dimension doing something so fast and precises without thinking. I could see what I was doing was intelligent but I didnt understand cause I didnt need to I was just doing it.

Like playing monopoly really fast and smart without thinking as all the palyers at the same time.

A strong trip will have something to do with you, A breakthrough has literally nothing to do with a human or your human life. Its not useful at all except you can come back and say wtf did I just see shit can get crazy.

Its like there is a oversoul in a higher dimension that is playing everything without thinking. Like a person designing a video game without the commentary of a the person doing it. You have no idea what the program he is using is and you have no idea what hes doing but hes doing it and its working. And that thing is you in a flowstate. Its mastered everything it dosent need to think.

I'm assuming these doses you guys mention are for salt forms of 5meo?

I only have the freebase version so I dissolve it with vinegar, but in my mind that's less optimal than the 'pure' salt form and therefore requires slightly higher doses. Thoughts on the differences in efficacy of the different forms?

PS: I haven't experimented much with plugging yet - just once with 8mg and it was a weak but meditative trip. In contrast, 8mg vaporized is enough for a full trip, for me.

No.

Freebase is slightly more potent than salt. But the difference is negligible.

They are equally pure. The quality of the trip is identical.

Main different is freebase stings more and vapes better.

Interesting. I get that the theoretical potency per weight of pure substance is higher on the freebase version (as chemically it's just the base — w/o the acid part of the molecule), but do you also mean it in practice, when administered with vinegar? And, do you use vinegar itself to dissolve freebase when plugging?
