The best thing you get out of Leo's content isn't thinking deep, it isn't complexity, you don't become an expert out of it, not technical thinking, not clever and smart thinking, not sophisticated philosophical thinking, but the ability to think clearly, which is arguably the hardest thing to achieve. 

To be able to see things as they are, where the gap between the map and territory is reduced. 

The paradoxical thing is that you might assume that clarity comes from accumulating "more" knowledge, more maps, more sophisticated language and vocabulary. But it's the opposite, it's about reducing as much complexity as possible, removing all human bullshit constructions, and seeing through all of it. that's why Leo's teachings sound deceptively simple, yet not many people could think like that.

This is really good. I've met a few of stage yellow people in the last few years, and these people fall into what I call " Stage Yellow Hell". 

Essentially it's unhealthy Stage Yellow . Escaping direct experience, clarity and simplicity through endless systems, sophisticated words, concepts and theories that come with a restless chaotic, un-grounded mind trapped in non-stop compulsive thinking.

Many times it's a knee-jerk reaction to trauma, attachment and an immature ego that can't cope with emptiness, meaninglesness and deconstruction of human constructs

This is the biggest trap for every intellectual.

Yellows are often intellectual types.

Academic sophistication creates conceptual complexity which makes clarity impossible.

That's why you want to keep understanding as simple as possible. Then it can be very clear. Intellectual minimalism.

yeah great observation, stage yellow requires a lot of maturity, integration and holism. Not being multi-dimensional is usually what leads to this sort of thing. You have to integrate all aspects of reality. not just external or just internal or just rational or just spiritual, not just academic, not just philosophical, not just practical.... It's what Leo calls a Sage.

On the other hand, how is it possible to truly reach clarity without undergoing that messy process.

I'll explain how my sense making has evolved over the years.

It's necessary to be lost in systems for a few good years before starting to intuit holistic thinking. 

Once you reach holism everything starts making much more sense, however your understanding hasn't fully reached completeness, it's necessary to close the loop so to speak.

The next level is strange loop thinking, at this point you understand how all of reality is self-contained and self-explanatory. The snake has found its tail. However, still the snake hasn't fully realised what it means to be self-contained, everything connects within itself, but it doesn't know itself.

Then you realise, Infinite Mind and the Sense Making Game becomes literally Infinite.

Any advice on how can i directly understand this? i intellectually understand it, and can explain it with words, but i still don't directly comprehend it yet.

It's all about understanding Oneness.

Holarchies and holism is the base but at some point you gotta realise it's all One. It's not anymore systems, or holism, it's oneness and you are not a holon anymore, you become the Oneness, ending all chains of inquiry just to arrive at the very beginning. Everything becomes self-explanatory, as it must be due to Oneness. Check Leo's video on Strange Loops, and really try to grasp that as an insight, if Reality is a strange loop, how does that radically recontextualize understanding?

Understanding strange loops is like kissing your ass backwards, everything connects perfectly.
