That result last night will definitely have given us more belief, still lots of tricky hurdles to overcome though. Given ourselves half a chance though (that's about as close to cock-eyed optimism as you're going to get from an Englishman :D).

Instead of posting motivational content on his YouTube channel..he should have managed expectations from the outset. At 41 .. the natural decline agility and close ball manipulation has significantly altered his playing profile. He know he is no longer a high volume ball  controler or isolation dribbler ..his value now lies in penalty box positioning and clinical finishing. Portugal possesses exceptional quality across all areas of the pitch  but the squad appears to lack the championship mentality . Talent alone does not consistently translate into World Cup success without those elite competitive traits.

They missed two clear chances at the very end . One of them if Ronaldo could’ve just spread his feet and touch the ball it would go In. I’m waiting for a YouTube highlight to showcase it.

Yes, England vs Norway will also be epic. Someone gonna need to give that Viking a rugby tackle😁, he's really good. But I still think England as a team should be too strong on the day.
