This worldly life is nothing but diversion and play. As for the home of the Hereafter—that is indeed the real life, if only they knew." (Surah Al-Ankabut, 64)

Meaning of the hereafter mentioned in the Quran is not that there is simply another life after this one. Rather, it means living without being overly attached to the world, in a state of total surrender.

In other words, heaven, hell, and the hereafter are all contained within this very moment.

All religious book, spiritual book that talks about heaven, says beautiful rivers, amazing taste of food, peace, joy, look around now, what do you see.

If you are in a state of surrender, it is heaven, if you are trying to be in control, which is any attachment, it is hell.
