I will move just a bit the topic here from sytemic structural to internal and personal. Not that the structural stop to exist but because is a interplay. This post here invites to inner self reflection.

Here the concept of "otherness" is applied in relation to woman. Relational skill are a important part of all. Many indigenous leaders say we are not aliens from nature, we are nature. The issue is not a lack of connection with nature but the ways we relate with it, with all different forms that we consider not being "us" or in the post case " not being man" . Some people like the woman from the book "Breading Whitegrass" call, kinship, or more than human, in the case of wolfs,ants,bats,plants,water and anything that we say that is not human. So the topic of non-differentiation enters here as well.

Not forgeting that Orignal Indigenous had no problems at all. The now called American Continent had their own sort of Domination, Astec Empire for example. But what came from the sea was something different.

This redefining of matriarchy as something that's closer to egalitarianism reminds me of how certain progressives tried to redefine racism as being defined by power relations. Calling everyone who's white racist and that it's not possible to be racist if your a minority.

The definition of matriarchy is political exclusion. It's obviously silly and hypocritical to advocate for that, so why use that term?

How will matriarchy deal with disease, crime, warfare, genocide? How will matriarchy handle different groups fighting over ideology, resources, ethnicity, religion? How will matriarchy manage economics and ensure justice and fairness whilst dealing with a limited resource pool? 
 

I’m not saying these to dismiss the idea, rather to genuinely put these issues forward in the event its ideas do come to fruition

Even if god snapped his fingers and made us into a literal matriarchy where every person in power was a woman, everything would be the exact same except maybe slightly more left leaning.

The women in power now aren’t meaningfully different than the men.

Disseases: Everyone in the community will be so evolved and naturally empathetic that they'll just automatically quarantine themselves in their homes. Cure will be researched, administered and delivered by a specialized team of researchers after a massive community consensus on a Skype meeting. I'm pretty sure most disseases are a byproduct of white capitalist patriarchy anyway

Crime: Solved via ostracism and cultural enforcement, also men would police each other all the time and call each other on mysogonistic behaviours - all crime is caused by toxic masculinity since only men commit crimes

Warfare, genocide: There will be no such thing as warfare or genocide anymore, we will all live in perfect harmony. And all it takes is getting rid of opressive white capitalist patriarchy

Economics, fairness: All greediness caused by white capitalist patriarchy would cease to exist and all resources would be distributed equally and with perfect fairness. Regardless of whether it's done by the state with majority of women in power, or by the anarchist society running on empathy that white capitalist patriarchy denied us all for so long, we can be assured that everything will be perfectly empathetic and will feel good

If you are asking this questions you need more research to do. Here a link with even a event you can participate to inform yourself better. Another tendency in this forum is people coming for free lunch. You do you, dont put on me the burden to dismantle from your mind the bias. If the topic is important to you go for it if not there are other aspects of reality to deal with.

No, it’s called asking reasonable questions to a bunch of people claiming they have a better way of living for everyone.

Matriarchy advocates claim the world is in its current state due to Patriarchy and misapplied gender norms. Again, I’m not dismissing the idea outright, but again, I’m  asking for evidence of this and how Matriarchy will supposedly do things better than Patriarchy.

Its just an assumption they're working with because its dialectical opposite isn't giving them enough of a free ride.

Women got it pretty good in the western world and you know thats true because they can't shut the fuck up about how they dont have it all (aka matriarchy).  Things being what they are, men could easily crush women into the dirt and there wouldnt be a goddamn fucking thing the women could do about it so if they're whining about stuff as they love to do you know the power dynamics theyre complaining about dont exist in the way that they say they do.

You treat these like they're some scientific facts and we are supposed to be the students eager to learn, when in reality it's just someone's perspective. I have a different perspective, and there is no way for you to prove that my perspective is inferior to theirs LOL this is not a science class
