Do enlightened people have nightmares?

Can you lucid-dream at night while maintaining high consciousness at daytime?

 Believe it or not but enlightened people do not dream at all ..lucid or nightmares or whatever . A zen master who has been meditating for 30 years doesn't think in his spare time nor dreams at night and if you put a brain scanner on his brain it will go flat line..there is no thoughts in his head . Also they describe  their experience of the waking state as “deep sleep while awake”.

So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise.If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Hmm now it makes sense what i have experienced, waking state + dream state become 1 pov or in another words inner and outer become one and only 1 pov. The outer or wake state is sleeping = you're out of your body while your outer state or dream state is both combined.

@Someone here , what a youtube channel did make you believe in all that surrealism?

@Jowblob , I wouldn't decide to drive a car in that state.

@glassfire I have a personal guru who is enlightened. I’ve had him coaching me directly that he doesn’t dream at night because his mind is empty . Usually what you do in the waking state carry to dreams ..if you spend your time doing Something you will keep doing it in your dreams . If you spend your time doing nothing and thinking nothing you will dream of nothing or have no dreams . A lot of yogis and highly advanced spiritual people give up a lot of what is considered biological and inevitable. You would think eating is a physical necessity but there are yogis who go breatharian for life. You would think REM sleep is just biological  necessity and Nightmarish dream are your subconscious fears expressing themselves so that you don’t go crazy ..but that’s not true at all .

I've heard some enlightened people say that at a very high level of consciousness you are lucid in both the dream state and the deep sleep state.

Not at all, non-lucid dreaming is the state where we are vulnerable to attacks of evil power. I am spiritual by the way, and wouldn't accept any guru.

@Someone here, a guru is a potential host for demons to control you through. Do not legalize the evil.

Enlightened people do not need to take shits anymore.  But they still get nightmares.

Jesus guys is this what the quality of the posts have become.

It’s not like that it’s that there is a fourth state of consciousness beyond waking & dreaming &sleeping but only for enlightened individuals .

@Inliytened1 is right about quality. Despite this forum contains "Lucid Dreaming" in description, when I want to get something new on that topic I go to dreamviews and reddit. But here I might learn more about a spiritual connection to that topic, plus, many people are here, as for a forum.

Occasionally I have what I can only describe as fever dreams minus the fever.  Some of these are nightmarish but usually they are just extremely bizarre and full of symbols.

@glassfire I don’t see why you think my post was low quality. The title says do enlightened people experience nightmares and I answered that enlightened people (very rare and advanced people ) rarely dream because there just isn’t that much mind chatter going on so that they would fear something that would show up in their dreams . Hire someone enlightened or experienced in meditation and mindfulness and he will promise you that you will not dream anything if that’s your goal. I’m not saying I’m enlightened or I don’t dream .

lucid dreaming is just by practicing reality checks so often when you are awake you will notice the glitches in a dream at night. Nothing complicated .
