Chasing enlightenment

13 posts in this topic

İt is like trying to find the keys while it's in your hand.

You can't be enlightened, because Truth is You.

Enlightenment is just being Yourself.

Path is all about running to something that's not you, enlightenment is simply being, because it is You.

İt is not about being thoughtless or thinking, or acting or non acting.

you chase enlightenment via videos, books, experiences, thoughts, etc... Because, you "think" it is out of you.

Therefore, it is so fucking simple therefore, you can't do that.

İt is all about not controlling, body and mind.

What about teaching this though?  Where does that factor in?  Otherwise you would be Free, right?

Mind thinks, Heart beats, liver functions, eyes reads, hand writes.

So you think mind is like the body in the sense that it just kinda does whatever it does.  There's no control over the patterns of the mind just like there is no control over the patterns of the body.  But then how do you know if the patterns of the mind are Good?

Not good nor bad.

As i said, do not interperate anything. Then, everything is it's own action. No one involves. Nor these becames teaching, writing by someone or reading by someone.

Body and mind flows like water.

Then why communicate meaning thru language?  Why not go do something else?  I'm not saying you, but anyone who has this point of view.

It seems you haven't grasped how the game works, and it's quite simple. As a human, you operate by default in a dense mode, since your genetic programming, created before rats, compels you to absolutely desire survival and to sleep with women more beautiful than the son of a bitch of your cousin.

yes, that cousin you've been competing with since you were four, the one you feign friendship with but secretly wish you could kill. So you brood over rage, frustration, desire, revenge, and murder. And guess what? This isn't enlightenment!

Then you read a book that tells you that if you free your mind from all that, you'll you'll find yourself and all that madness will finish. And you think: this resonates, there's truth here. Let's do it: but, surprise, you can't. Because you still want to kill your cousin, even though you hug him saying "namaste." Really, more than saying "namaste," you'd like to crush enemies and listen to the wailing of their women while having an orgy with models.

No, no, no, wrong, not like that, James, no. So you pretend to be a saint when you're full of shit, like you do, and you think you've made it. Spiritual ego on full display. Bad.

So, you think: if Buddha spent seven years doing incredibly tough tests, obviously that stupid idea of "you're enlightened now" is stupid. You have to polish the metal, and to polish it you have to look directly at the stains, something you, James the fake, don't do because your enormous ego forbids it.

Wax on, wax off, young Padawan. Don't act like a teacher when you're not even a student. Keep doing this until the unlimited light of what is begins to shine through, even just a little, which in your case is far from happening. Break the fear, the attachment, the desire, the need to be yourself, to remain. Little by little, day by day, minute by minute. But you have to start before to say that you already did it, and you haven't, because your heavy ego hates humility, that's why you are sad. Bad business right? Nothing to gain, everything to lose.

Do you ask why body needs oxygen or gravity? Same.

It comes down to how we're slicing and dicing what constitutes the self.

No. Self is based on control.

Everyone has their own unique journey in life, and no matter how much you may want to guide or influence someone, they ultimately need to find their own way.

Not you.
