You anti-feminist redpillers who think feminism has brainwashed women to not get into realtionships with whomever, you have to understand that ther world has changed. It has changed in a good way, even if it seems bad from your perspective. Men are not getting away with the shit they used to get away 70 years ago. Now women have the power to speak, and call out the abuse. Not just that they now hear horrific stories about male abusers all over, but now they can choose. They can choose to stay single until they find a good man. That is the natural selection at work.

This is an extreme case, but many milder cases of "casual" beatings and abuse I know personally in my freind group alone. Men were shit and still most of them are shit, and that might be a reason for women staying single. Besides social media, choice anxiety, indivdualism, lack of third places, and all that you already know about.

@Alexop I sort of agree. Makes sense that with more choice and less forced dependence women would be able to be better selective.

But there is also a fair amount of bias, and emotional displacement occurring from various groups of women to men.

Its not black or white.

Just see anyone who says "Men are trash". If that were true, then some dude who has been in a coma since 4 years old is also trash. Which is obviously ridiculous. So obviously there is some level of distortion going on.

But also if this were true that the singledom of men is caused by women seeking good men, then why would scumbags still be getting lots of girls?

Also, good men did exist 70 years ago. Not every dude was shit. I don't see why people or yourself make such black or white statements, it needlessly takes credibility away from a valuable and honourable message. Feminism has been a very noble and valuable movement in many ways.

Of course not every dude is shit, it is a generalization. It is a patern where you mainly meet uninspiring man-children or toxic macho guys. The bully at your highschool is getting girls because he has good social skills and connections. makes him be perceived as high value. And he mainly gets immature girls maybe. And partly because such machos have a vibe that women search for, that they don't find in the nice guy whimps. 

They basically want the masculinity and charm of a macho but without the manipulative and abusive behavior and immaturity.

Here's my hot take:

Relationships and sex both as an activity and a topic of discussion are for low consciousness individuals. That's why animals and the dumbest people on earth are still obsessed with it. Enlightened people don't struggle with sex, gender, and relationship issues - many are famously celebrate and  reject it entirely. Why? Because the more conscious you get the less interested you are about these things. So if women are getting less interested in men it's because they are becoming more conscious. You could also say men are becoming less interested in women (in first world countries) evidenced by less rape, less polygamy, and less sex over all for the younger generations.

@enchanted these arguments can be detrimental to many people. If you crave a relationship you should pursue it. I get that sex is brainless but a high quality relationship can be life changing. If you pursue spirituality and ignore your needs, that can lead to a broken human being, not a saint. Many spiritual people are full of shit so I doubt that pursuing spirituality full on can help you much. That is for very few gifted individuals. That is why communities paid money to monasteries so those gifted ones were doing that full time.  just so when they are done with it to come to the plebs and enlighten them with knowledge.

I think you are talking about a small minority of traumatized women. A healthy woman does not get attracted to a narcissist. To the counter, she is maybe too cautious by choosing a boring, nice guy that she dislikes, just to be sure he does not brake her heart.

Thats after she went for the narcissist and player and they broke her heart, multiple times. More likely she just stays single now and complains about men.

I think the bigger issue is choice abundance. When your always thinking that you can do better your less likely to push through the challenges of a long-term relation when the novelty wears off. That's not a gendered thing, though women have more options than men by far. In the past it was a matter of survival to lock in.

The gender wars has some truth to it. 

But the reality is that secure people with healthy self-esteem don't deal with so much of this shit from either genders. 

There is an aspect of not "putting up with men's shit".

But if your patience and tolerance is essentially nearly 0 don't be surprised if you end up alone.

Nobody is perfect and the idea that men are these horrible assholes is a bit overblown. 

The real asshole guys that are toxic tend to get the most results because they are capable of manipulating women and have a high sense of entitlement. 

I think the average man has a lot to work on but a lot of it is his own self-confidence and self-rejection, not that he's a raging misogynist.

Thanks for the reply. Your original question is good and here's my two cents:

Yes truth can be detrimental but it can also set you free. All too often people find their soul mates when they have given up and stopped chasing. Trying to analyze and categorize how women think and act is a dead end that leads to being single for longer. Giving up, focusing on hobbies and being a happy, and loving and being nice to everyone equally (whether fat, disable, ugly, skinny, hot, young, old) is the surest way to have your soul mate drop into your lap. Im not joking. 

Women aren't stupid. When they see a guy like the one I described above they subtly or not so subtly throw themselves at him because he is a rare type of guy.
