Inside The Manosphere - New Louis Theroux documentary

21 posts in this topic

What do you all think? Very toxic stage orange and just completely ego-driven maniacs pulling in hundreds of thousands of young viewers online meet face to face with Louis Theroux and expose themselves as imbeciles just by conversing.

I'll have to watch it, I like seeing the Red pill deconstructed. Always lessons to be learned.

I'll take their side over his though. The guy's comment at 1:48 is accurate. They are more real, self expressive than an establishment journalist I'd say. I won't vouch for any of the guys in this particular documentary I don't follow them particularly but running your own business online through content production and having an audience that listens to you is obviously an admirable thing, that's why we're here.

I think calling out grifters is a good ideal and especially deceptive business practices but the idea of the the proper hounorable man roasting the deplorable red pill guys is a bit of a cope and delusional to me lol.

The "normies" are having a field day with this documentary, I've noticed they're posting memes about it everywhere LOL good for them, they're getting their dopamine and serotonine supply from a sense of accomplishment and belonging to a group

Oh boy, some of the dudes he interviews truly are deplorable though. I get the sentiment behind what you’re saying but these are not the kind of influencers you want anybody to look up to

Moved on from rap and drug dealing to online scamming each other.

This is not stage orange, it's stage red. These people don't care about material, they care about status. For orange think of intellectuals, doctors, lawyers, liberals, etc. Orange actually contributes something material.

@Elliott It's a lot of Orange too. Red is much more barbaric and crude. Orange loves status and luxury too. Orange is hyper capitalism, hyper individualism, hyper materialism.

Red is more like African warlord vibes.

Orange is Wolf of Wall Street vibes.

But Orange does involve that. There is a healthy Orange and a toxic Orange. Healthy Orange is legit business, and toxic Orange is scamming and grifting.

Wolf of Wall Street is scamming people, basically. That's 50% of Wall Street mentality.

Orange loves a good grift.

Do you place red anywhere in capitalism?

Not much. Red is very barbaric. It's pre-capitalist developmentally.

Sure, capitalists have some Red elements, but mostly Orange and toxic Orange.

I think it's easy to conflate toxic Orange with Red.

@Leo Gura Tate on wallstreet?

Why not?

Wolf of Wall Street. Jordan Belfort is basically Andrew Tate.

Wall Street is full of scammers.

He's too impulsive to learn how, let alone submission to superiors or working with others.

If he can run a web cam business he can run a boiler room.

Learning to trade stock is quite easy and Tate can learn that.

"AI Overview

Andrew Tate is facing serious criminal charges in Romania, including human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group"

Do you think Tate is higher up the spiral than preachers/christians like these guys?

Toxic orange to me would be BP oil spill, or 2008 crash, not explicit criminalism, just ignorance of harm. The guys in charge of BP and the banks are some of the most intelligent in the world, not impulsive either.

Yes, I'm well aware of this.

Tate definitely has some strong Red vibes. Trump does too.

They both blend Red and Orange in a confusing mix.

Andrew tate is a dangerous criminal. If you're looking to learn how to make money an influencer like Alex Hormozi is much better and if you're moreso looking for dating help then coaches like Michael Sartain and Owen cook are going to be more helpful in that regard.

Tate's immaturity isn't a bug, it's a feature. It appeals to millions of immature teens. That's who follows him.

Owen, ironically, is too mature for most teens. The misogyny IS the selling point.
