I use a combination of LED and fluorescent lighting.

Aputure makes good LED lights. You want really high CRI or it will look bad.

Fluorescent can look better than LED. It requires lots of experimentation to get it looking good. Also depends a lot on your camera's color settings.

LEDs do not look good without large softboxes.

I made it myself, by hand, with fabric, sponge, and paint.
