Also, spiral dynamics don't really fit with Buddha and Jesus too.

What would Jesus be? Blue-turqoise?????

It depends on how one relates to them.

But please don't confuse the map for the territory.

Those models are in the end just that—models. At best they're able to expand one's perspective, but they shouldn't be held as some kind of definitive truth.

Those personality type stuff discussions are way too shallow for my taste.

Yep. And many do not even understand the model. Just like the label 🤪

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

T vs F still has nothing to do with how much one thinks or feels. Or the depth. Changing the goalposts there. Your point is completely seperate.

A feeler does not feel more than a thinker. A thinker does not think more than a feeler.

@Natasha Tori Maru I think theres some truth to what he is saying.

Like for example an INTP is Fi blind and Fe inferior. The average INTP when presented with information is first going to think it over because Ti is his dominant function. That's not to say he cant feel or have internal subjective values and emotions, but that is not his priorities according to the model. So in a sense, one could make the case that an INTP cares less about his and others feelings and emotions than for example an INFP or an ISFP.

Calling somebody a feeler or a thinker has meaning, in that the person prioritize either feeling or thinking more, and therefore the label creation.

Just my two cents:)

The capacity to feel is different from how MBTI functions are used - so T & F are how we make decisions in MBTI.

It has nothing to do we how much we ACTUALLY feel or experience feelings.

That's the distinction I am making ( ╹▽╹ )

I make no remark about the users secondary point made.
