I found this very nice routine today:

 

 


God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

That is a good perspective i was'nt stretching cause performance wise it is a lot overated but never thougth about the mental aspect ! lol 

I will give it a go

@VioleGrace Yes! After stretching it's like a deep tension is released in my brain and then my mind relaxes a lot

You guys feel higher flexibility on the mind after stretching for real?

I do a 1 hr stretching routine 2x a week and feel great afterwards but how would I know if it makes my mind more flexible? :D

No offense but seems like a bro science claim to me.

Yes, I do feel it, but everyone is different. Maybe for you stretching may tense and contract your mind or don't affect it at all.

If you meditate a lot, you will start getting a lot of sensibility of the states and structure your mind is in. You can even see how food affects your mind if you just eat and then meditate. Actually everything alters your state of mind.

It's like you come to a carpenter shop and say to the craftsman, you are telling me for real there are different types of woods? I only see regular joe wood. There's an art of making subtle distinctions with deep observation.

Try next time you do your stretching routine to meditate before and after and compare the state of your mind.

Btw, given that you stretch twice a week could you give me any advice or routine? I'm just starting and would very much appreciate it as I'm not proficient in the topic

For me I feel the main factor is simply that if I feel discomfort in my body in the form of for example a lot of muscle tension, bloating or whatever, it takes some of my attention and it bothers me to certain degree, so I’m less able to enjoy and focus on what I’m doing.

It's probably more about the body (and so the brain) enjoying the movement, producing those sweet, sweet neurochemicals, changing your state, and so on. Never mind.

Stretching in combo with good body awareness is best. So you target exactly what you need the most. You feel in your body where is most tension, where are you most limited in movement. And you find the exact movement that give you most release 

Stretching overall is good ofc, but when its targeted then its even better. What I’ve done is just experiment for myself with different stretches and feeling into it. You could even invent movements you haven’t seen before
