I had a very strange spiritual experience that people would probably call “crazy”

I’m posting this because I need to get it off my chest, even though I know many people would immediately dismiss it as insanity.

For about 60–70 days, I went through what I can only describe as a spiritual experience involving an entity that called itself Giovanni. During this period, I also experienced what felt like “third-eye” visions — almost like videos — where famous people appeared to be talking directly to me.

The experience was long, intense, and deeply unsettling. This entity often said malicious or manipulative things, sometimes in a way that felt like trolling or psychological games. I’m aware this all sounds unbelievable, but I have no reason to lie here. Making something like this up would be a complete waste of time, in my opinion.

What made it even more disturbing is that the experience involved very personal details from my own life. At times, the entity told me false stories about things that supposedly happened to me(things like involving me being r*d by a woman, but I don't know if it's real or not, even though I have a memory of it and crying in class), and there were moments where it felt like my own voice and face was being “deepfaked” — I could hear my voice as if it were coming through these third-eye visions. I am aware that dreams could also be mixed up as memories, and I'm not sure if this entity put this memories inside my head or this thing(r**) happened to me in school and no one saw it. If it's real then the entity just want me to recalled it, but if it's not, then the entity is making fun of me since I did not got r*p*d at the school.

During this experience, the entity also seemed to torture me. I felt very intense sensations in my stomach, and also felt like my belly button were being cut in a  “spiritual” way. At times, it felt like my heart was being manipulated, almost as if chemicals like serotonin were being placed into it, it was painful to bear.

I also experience this entity making me time travel 3 times and no one notice that I did.(so this entity has God-like powers, and this feels really unsettling since this entity also torture me sometime later after I experience it)

 

What troubles me most is why this experience seemed to target me specifically. Why me? The entity referred to this whole experience as “purgatory,” which made it even more disturbing.

My main fear is whether something like this could happen again after death. I also worry about whether this experience was unique to me — as if I were chosen to suffer or be punished indefinitely. I don’t know how to interpret any of this, and I’m sharing it here to hear other perspectives or similar experiences.

I am sorry you went through this.

It sounds like a nightmare, as if someone hacked your brain and you lost control over it.

I would assume it’s a sign of schizophrenia (which is still a very mysterious phenomenon), but since you are no longer experiencing it, that may not be the case. Still, your experience is pretty frightening and mysterious.

My father is diagnosed with schizophrenia (since age 25), and it has basically been his life since then. Entities talking to him, commenting on everything, no escape, even with medication, which only makes it more controllable.

 

Sometimes the entities say positive things, sometimes negative. Recently, when I talked to him, he said he heard a voice saying I would be on TV, which was nice and even flattering, haha, though it made me wonder for what reasons the voice said I would be there lol, hopefully for a good reason.. 

But there are also voices that made him believe I said negative things to him and hated him (which is not true), and he was hurt and confronted me about it, until I reminded him that those are just his voices and not reality.

He is very aware that there is a separation between what the voices tell him and reality, but sometimes they mess with his mind so much that he forgets it, and it takes a while to realize it, just as it takes time to realize we were only dreaming after we wake up.

It made me laugh sometimes, I saw and heard movie scripts of movies that doesn't exist, like movies from Star Wars Franchise. It was 60 days straight out of people talking about movies and series, it was like a podcast and videocast, it was enjoyable but the pain sometimes where unbearable and I was feeling nauseous sometimes.

I saw a scene of The Chosen (tv series) that the characters were sharing a profound and cute moment, it was a scene Mary Magdalene(Elizabeth Tabish)  and  Matthew (Paras Patel), they were talking about grapes and forgetfulness, and for whatever reason it was Brazilian Dub, it made me cry a lot because they seemed pretty cute together.
I also saw the ending scene of a movie sequel "Ruby Sparks 2", I saw Calvin (Paul Dano) grabbing an arm and the weapon failing and he realizing he is an imaginary person, and then the movie shows a guy sitting in a chair writing the character of "Calvin"(it's a plot twist, since Calvin thinks he's real).

I also heard a dubbed voice of a person who has a funny and pleasant voice, maybe it's some real actor, but never got to voice Paul Dano. I'm curious about this particular voice because I already heard that voice before in some movie and wanted him to voice Paul Dano since I'm fond of the Brazilian Dub.

The "third eye videos" told a lot of things but 90% it was just lie and people saying nonsense likes movies that doesn't even exist and I'm part of it. But I liked when the people in the "third eye" talked about some plots of movies like Star Wars starring Sebastian Sean and Elle Fanning, and I cry out loud when it is said that Luke killed some gray Jedi in the Gray Temple, it was a bunch of brazilian people really saying good plot movies.(I wonder why this entity show me this awesome stuff and didn't show it to other people) 

 

And also cry when someone in the "third eye" videos told me that Judas, the disciple of Jesus, was really lonely when he killed himself. And the pain and discomfort that was in my heart did go away. (I did have a pain in my heart, like some part of my heart was being grabbed by someonel, and it lasted 5-8 hours)

Some famous people of a famous TV show The Noite said that I did sin when I robbed 1 colectible card of a friend at school.(that give me a lesson)

It could not be schizophenia since it occurs through a long period, and now I do not experience this "third eye" anymore and don't heard anybody talking to me. I hope that this doesn't happen to me anymore because the pain is unbearable, but the "third eye experience" it's somewhat good and sometimes lighthearted.

Holy moly .. if you ask me stay away from psychedelics cause they intensify your symptoms, it's seems like you have  schizophrenia.... Those jester like visions only come on deep meditation or while using psychedelics, if the dose was high It could last even for couple weeks , I know this because I went through it after doing a absurdly high dose of shrooms! And here I am after 6 years still couldn't figure out wtf happened that night !

This is common among those who are acute sensitives or schizophrenics and I have been around similar people in my life. 

What I wanna know is what did you do before this, how did this start, any drugs or substances, how does your diet and lifestyle look?

What were you doing the last few weeks prior to this entity-experience and what or when do you think it began shortly after?

This may be able to help narrow things down so I can help. There are many energies that feed of our light and power.

It recently happened to a friend who took too much LSD and basically wanted to taste god-like powers so he was somewhat Hijacked in exchange for illusory powers, and going around claiming he was Jesus Christ... I guess he went against god or himself in some way by doing so.

Took a few weeks to bring him back down to reality, he was seeing visions and all sorts of dark stuff, but around us this entity had no power.

There's a lot of things we don't understand, especially in the modern day and age, there's a lot of shamans out there for these very cases.

Who have been dealing and mastering this stuff and astral forces and energies for thousands of years, that if you aren't grounded enough and open yourself up too much, you can become hijacked too. Right now I would focus on grounding and less stimulation and opening up.

What you're describing is called "complex panoramic hallucinations." There's no need to look for meaning in them.
Sometimes schizophrenia begins harmlessly—at first, you feel discomfort, general discomfort. Then you might start to experience discomfort in your body. It's as if something's getting in the way, or something else. And then this something starts to develop, and it feels like it's separating from you. This is a later stage of schizophrenia. And schizophrenia isn't necessarily negative; there are periods with positive emotions.
If it's not treated promptly, it will progress, and it will get worse.

And it's also impossible to convince schizophrenics of their fate; I'm not the only one who's experienced this.

Currently none, but I had  Generalized Anxiety Disorder and did have treatment for it, now I don't take any meds.

Yes, but they pointed out a disorder that it's not even related to the symptoms that I did have in my spiritual experience.

What triggered this experience?

I woke up and began experiencing what I can only describe as “watching videos through my third eye.” It felt very literal—almost like picking up my phone and watching a video. The image appeared at roughly the size of a smartphone screen, around 6 inches, and had a similar visual clarity.

Then I would sleep and wake up again just to see the same screen in my face, my first experience was 7 days non stop (I counted), then the other happend after some months then it take up 60-70 days roughly.

Have you had any other spiritual experiences?

I had multiple experiences like this. Most of them felt more like trolling, because the entities would say things that seemed silly or nonsensical.

However, there was one moment that felt different. I experienced something like an entity taking control of my mouth and saying, “do chiropractic.” After that, I looked it up and actually booked a session. That experience felt helpful rather than mocking, and at the time I interpreted it as possibly being Jesus.

Have you been doing any spiritual practices?

No, I don't. Actually I was a Deist for the majority of time, I study a lot about the historical Jesus..

Does you family have a history of spiritual experiences?

Unfortunately, they don’t share that perspective. They don’t seem to believe in spirits or any kind of spiritual awakening, and they’re also very skeptical about psychedelics.

Have you experience jester thoughts while high on psychedelics? I never have.

The experience that I have had jokes who are really devilish and evil and I never thought that before, and it was blasphemous, even though I love God. Really a disturbing experience.

 @Charlie Jensen It seems something has prematurely triggered your 3rd eye wide open. Do you recall how you lived the few days prior to this experience to help pinpoint what may have triggered it? This often happens to people at festivals who do a lot of substances and we often have to help sober them up and help bring them back down to reality because they are energetically too scattered and need grounding more than opening.

Sometimes we do hear voices and energies or entities that can appear helpful, and ultimately are expressions of our higher mind, so to speak.

Here are some ways and patterns we observe differences between higher guidance and malevolent thoughts, forces, and distortions.

Higher guidance will often have these traits.

Respect your integrity and facilitate your own decision making.

Humbly acknowledge a force greater than them.

Say that many paths may lead to truth and expanded consciousness.

Provide information specific to your situation.

Offer you council that challenges you and causes you to overcome personal limitations.

Serve those they can serve in a humble yet strong and dedicated way.

Have good manners, treat you respectfully, and contact you in times and places that are comfortable to you.

What higher guides don't do.

Claim they know what is best for you.

 Arrogantly claim that they are the ultimate source of wisdom.

Leave you feeling powerless and dependent.

Say that there is only one path and that is their path.

Speak in vague spiritual cliches that have little specific content.

Flatter you and support you in negative emotional, mental and physical patterns.

Try to create a following of themselves through you.

Have bad manners, intrude you at awkward times, or abuse you in any way.

Tell you that you are the only pure soul that can save the earth... Ect...

These are some teachings passed onto me by an elder shaman who has helped me a lot. They understand this stuff well.

There is also a book i once read that made a lot of sense to me as I too was said to me by Odette Nightsky called Bridge Between Worlds.

It will help demystify a lot of the modern "disorders" modern medicine poorly understands and how native people and shamans have always usually had one term for them: visionaries, oracles, shamans ect... Those who are hyper-aware, empathetic and sensitive.

They simply need more grounding and guidance, more time keeping feet on the earth and hands on the soil and less time online, doing substances or in the sky. They need to develop deep roots so they don't fly off, cause naturally they are already high above the clouds and struggle to balance.
