Truth

109 posts in this topic

There is a barrier that separates you from your true nature; it is the movement of forms, the becoming. It absorbs you completely and makes you see everything as dualities, qualities, nuances, differences, solitude, companionship, one, two.

What reality is is always here, just beyond becoming, beneath it, immediately below, millimeters away. only flatten the differences; what remains is the essence. The essence is everything

This does not mean that differences should be eliminated, but rather that if you stop taking them as a basis, as the foundation of what is, they become transparent, then the nature of reality shines through them.

Anytime brother.

Actually not. Just step back. Be witness, till mind become alone itself and talks without any ownership.

Maybe, then it become quite. 😊

I’ve been noticing that people sometimes seem to be using spiritual language in different ways.  Some of it feels more about exploring or understanding, while some of it feels more about settling or quieting experience.  Both seem helpful in their own way, but they don’t always line up in discussion.

Interesting point!

My thoughts? I see:

Inquiry related spirituality moving toward opening, seeing, understanding and being understood. Looking more closely, curious. Which leads to more complexity before it simplifies. But this can seem cold and destabilizing...

VS

Regulation oriented spirituality akin to settling, soothing and stabilizing. I see this as moving toward nervous system being and coherence. It feels as if to be moving toward containment and safety, surrender, letting go and reduces activation. Becoming clearer through the calm and not so much contrast. And this can sound evasive and bypassy...

I think the clash comes because the two approaches appear to be solving a different problem - or rather - seeing a different problem. Similar words but different intent and energy. But they are just two phases, not opposing teams. I didn't really do the above two descriptions justice with my words. I just attempted to describe this consistent vibe I get from different seekers, and the phases they currently reside in.

I think a mature, balanced practice oscillates between the two methods.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

When one's realize that his / her entire personality is based on these beliefs and experiences, one dissolves.

The Quintessential Quietness of being is the only authentic truth. And is prior to knowing prior to knowledge.

Your knowledge isn't yours it's collective memory, creating your perceived reality and "self".
Knowledge therefore, is a fiction, it’s not the silent truth.

To think about truth is interference, which serves only as a distractive distortion of truth.
Truth involves functioning directly, like animals, responding to stimuli without the need for continuous interpretation or retention of knowledge.

I agree with you James.  Your comments make more coherent sense to me than anything I’ve ever read before.
Sometimes I will ask you questions or even challenge your ideas, but ultimately I know you are pointing to a truer truth when you say give everything back to God. I totally resonate with that sentiment.

If claiming based on identification, both is unnecessary. Yet, if just talking, both is just words and sentences.

Just watch the one, who says or attached the these sentences as identification.

Even if you do for a second, mind will stop inevatibly.

But, when you say oh I get it. That's mind too 😊

Then step back watch or be witness of that too 😊

The step back is the key. We never entertain the idea of being outside the realm of self-centeredness because it’s taken root in us and we are identified with it. 🔐 A still mind can be likened to a still wind.
Ultimately, stillness and silence is what is craved the most, the absolute truth of selfless being. Seen everywhere in unconditioned animals and nature, even in humans, yes, even the sense of self identity can be seen through as an illusory self, empty at its very core of appearing to be a self centred being. In reality it’s a centreless centre,  that is everywhere at once absent of any boundary or circumference.

In general the more we speak and try to correct/convince the less certain we are.

I agree.  Brilliant insight.

The truth is already this immediate aliveness living and permeating as and through every physical body without doubt or error.

Ultimately, Nothing can know itself without splitting into two things, into a knower and the known.

Common sense reveals life is one seamless, ever unfolding process, always under construction that never completes.
