Over 6 months sober from weed thanks in part to Leo

I'm over 6 months sober from weed after nearly 20 years of daily chronic use. Thankful for Leo and his teachings for increasing my insight into the deeper nature of my issues and providing a counter to the idiotic generic advice "just a plant bro, all natural." Arsenic is 100% organic all natural too but you don't see people lining up to take it.

I used to smoke multiple times a day, buy it bulk, sell it to help support my habbit. I had all manners of devices, bongs etc. It was never about 'getting high' and enjoying myself but rather pulling myself up from a low state. I'm bipolar 1, had a traumatic childhood, avoidant/abusive parents and more so I had a lot of internal negativity to overcome and emotional states to regulate that I was able to with weed.

Getting a handle on the ability to regulate, see outside myself, frame my addiction as what it is hasn't been easy and in many ways life has gotten harder post quitting. My weak little chicken legs of standing on my own mentally have struggled alot in 'getting back in shape' but it's happening. Just wanted to share and give thanks for providing useful information, example for how to live 'the good life', control my behavior and think holistically.

I smoked it for 4 years straight like 20 bong rips a day and then I just stopped and it wasn't hard for me. It helped me see the weed state and I can now remain in the weed state which is our natural state.

Good job to quit but don't hate it keep the state it taught you.

Don't you had PAWS and dysfunction that fucked your sleep completely ? I smoked 7-8 years.
I m 3 years off and my brain is still not quite there, at this point I wonder if it's the weed.

Weed is especially bad for those with bipolar. Weed ungrounds your mind and the bipolar mind needs grounding.

@AerisVahnEphelia I think when you smoke weed you stop communicating with your emotions and body so you have a massive backlog of dreams and emotions to go through. The longer the more. So when you stop its best to sleep a shit tonne. Like sleep and dream anytime you get a chance too. Have alot of naps. You spirit sending you info the entire time you are high and you dont really get to connect with it so I think those things sit there until you stop.

Cannabis drops me into my body like nothing else.  It's very somatic.  But I don't use it for entertainment.
