Got Hit By A Car ( questioning my path)

@Shakazulu Since you're into music I sent you a message in a song. I found it, or maybe better to say, it found me when life taught me a sudden lesson in disillusionment. Give it a listen.

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.

@cetus I listened to it, thank you!
I actually appreciate a wide variety of music across different eras. I like the  80s, 90s & 2000 pop/rock era. So many different versions of rock, I appreciate soft rock too lol.

Based on the energy i read, the wake up call is to slow down, get grounded, keep it simple.

Every time I have been doing too much, or too spiritually focused and ungrounded i end up hurting myself and sometimes the injury is a big one if i am not paying attentions to the cues from the universe.

My friend almost died because she was being far too ethereal and spiritual and not acknowledging the physical world nor her physical body where cars and danger exist.

@Shakazulu Thought the lyrics were very appropriate for your situation. "Thank you, disillusionment". "The moment I stepped off it was the moment that I touched down"

I always played rock guitar, but I've been delving more into drone and ambient sound scapes for a while now. Been experimenting with a MIDI keyboard controller also.

This struggle is all building toward a big win: music success, women, money, influence, etc.”

"How 'bout them transparent dangling carrots" "How 'bout that ever illusive kudo" "Thank you disillusionment" "Thank you clarity"

@Ramasta9

Yeah, that resonates a lot. I was definitely too in my head and spiritually hyped, not grounded enough in simple physical reality. I’m taking this as a cue to slow down, simplify, and actually be present in my body and the world.

@cetus

Yeah, those lyrics hit different right now – ‘thank you, disillusionment’ feels exactly like where I’m headed. This whole accident is forcing me to step off the fantasy and actually touch down in my real life. Humble, but more real.

oh okay so you produce too?

You can take a philosophical approach to this—these events are like a mini-ego deathxD. Reality shows you exactly what It Is.

Dude, I spent time in prison, and that's where you really learn who and what you are, not just in words, but in actions. Everything you think you're cool is mostly just your imagination, but if you're strong-willed, you truly relate to things more authentically, looking reality in the face. That's also a mini-ego death ahahaha.

Yeah, those dangling carrots have been running a lot of my story. This whole thing is kind of forcing me to drop the ‘big win’ fantasy and actually see clearly what’s here now. Painful, but I can feel the clarity underneath it.

@Malkom

Yeah, it definitely feels like a mini ego death. It’s the life we live in North America. Everything we do is for something! I realized I wasn’t in an illusion about my relationship with others and the world. My life is about me but the world is not about me. It’s about others and providing value to others too
