You find the terms "God, Shiva, Brahman", to be unambiguous to most people?

I told you at the beginning what Shiva means the unlimited in this conversation , not in general. Sure it has different meanings. Those names are just a way to express an idea, not something rigid . But benign is not a bad adjective because the unlimited is not evil or selfish, is just unlimited and it's perceived as freedom, perfection, glory. 

It's not like: if it's unlimited it includes the evilness. No, it's just absolute being. Possible evilness arises in the form, it's an appearance.

do you have any issue with this title? Do you believe in "the existence of God"?

 

There's no reason to use the term God, Shiva, Brahman, except to qualify the religions they're attached to. "God" is Anglo-Christian, Moses nor Abraham even used the term, it's specific to a sect and their beliefs.

 

The only point in you saying "Shiva is nothingness/unlimitedness" , is to qualify hinduism. Otherwise you would just say unlimitedness or nothingness, not "God".

Faith means trust in something you aren't sure of, to me the use of faith in the spiritual path is having faith that truth can be realized.

We should define what we mean by "God." I would say that for most people, God is an entity that creates reality. If we qualify this and say that reality is God, then obviously everyone believes in God since they believe in reality. What is not possible is a separate, creator entity (in my opinion)
