How to generate start up ideas?

I really wanna to start something big, but I don't have any tech skills. And today almost everything is about technologies. And in general how can you describe process of idea generation?

Use your imagination? turn off the devices, get bored until things start exploding in your mind. This is how it all begins, 2 - 4 am is the sweet spot, for me at least. Not sure why but things turn on to the max at these times, especially after sleeping on the forest floor for a few days.

Not a linear thing and not something that can be bought or shared that simply. Envisioning is what you're looking for, developing a vision for the future, which involves creativity and aspiration.

Tell me what field do you want to work on? Because technology is everywhere, you need to limit to your main objective. Anything from architecture, computers, medicine, biology, space exploration, art, etc.

One method:

What problem can you solve for someone?    What problems do you face that you wish you could pay someone for a solution?

Is there significant demand for this problem to be solved?

Is anyone else solving it well?

Is there a business opportunity here or not?

 

Another method:

What desire does a person or group of people have that you can satisfy for them?

Is there significant demand for this desire to be satisfied?

Is anyone else satisfying it well?

Is there a business opportunity here or not?

You need a lot of experience in whatever area you are trying to innovate in. This comes from being a deep consumer of the tech.

For example, if you want to innovate vibrators, you need a lot of experience using vibrators.
