@Dodo

I don't see any point to discuss such stf with ai, since ai is a just text generation machine.

You're challenging me with a machine that doesn't have any capacity to experience or even understand words it's using like God, love, hate, etc. what's the point?

Poor OP got his thread derailed by AI discussion. :P

Dodo said he'll keep it human, so let's go a bit easy on him. We're all navigating this new world-with-now-AI-in-it together.

But today I understood with more clarity how hate doesnt make any sense as I would be hating part of me that is still sleeping

Stupid that I forgot about it somehow, it's so obvious once consciousness level is raised a bit

That's a good insight to have, especially when internalized. When the "consequences" of this realization hit for you regarding your personal biases and specific things/people you hate (eg. certain world leaders), it's profound.

I was on the same opinion, but you can see me changing my mind in the thread I posted earlier. Ai is trained on a lot of data. Its easy to have a preconceived notion and handwave it away, but I have seen the value in it for my own self. It is basically like speaking with collective humanity than with a machine.

Here is its training data which shows why its valuable (shortened it to keep ai content to minimum)

1. **Training data:**

   I’ve been trained on a vast corpus of publicly available text — books, essays, dialogue, philosophy, psychology, religion, transcripts of conversations, etc. That includes many first-person accounts of mystical experiences, meditation journals, teachings from various traditions (Advaita, Zen, Christianity, Sufism, etc.), and commentaries by people reflecting on consciousness.

@Dodo I am not handwaving it away without consideration of the points you raise. I just simply don't see merit for it

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

@Dodo That's all good but you have to consider AI from the viewpoint of moderation. The forum could eventually become nothing more than bots talking to bots. Devoid of human interaction and spontaneity.

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.
