Should everyone go vegan?

If you're so obsessed with a vegan diet, you could, for example, try the Mediterranean diet; it's more sensible and practical. It includes vegetables, which is essential for people.

I am not knowledgeable on this subject so I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure eating meat harms the body, bank account and global temp.

I was brought up with meat, bread and animal products, but after i started to awaken or activate, i started noticing shifts in my consciousness and body, that now eating plants makes way more sense, healed 90% of my health issues and I feel 1000x better.

Beef is harder to digest. But chicken seems tolerable on a daily basis. And I don't think you're gonna devolve your brain too much by not eating any meat, it's mostly the body and muscles.

Yeah i haven't touched any meat in over 10 years besides some wild fish i had camping a few times. I don't really resonate with it anymore nor support killing any animals. At the same time my body has changed so much that i really feel the difference when I do, so I'll stick to what works for me.

When i eat animals products I become more closed off spirituality and experience a lot of anger and bodily issues shortly after, so i prefer not to, and rather eat something more biologically compatible like fruits and plants (which work best for me).

Once in a while i don't think much harm is done, but i prefer leave that for emergency situations or rare occasions when its the only option. At the end of the day we need to learn to tune into our bodies and intuition on what we truly need.

I'm skeptical about vegetarianism. Just my observation. I once decided to go vegan for a week. The first thing I realized was that I wasn't feeling full at all; I had to eat a lot of "grass." Ahahaha. At first, I felt a sense of lightness, and as if my thoughts had become clear, but that's just a first impression. It's not really like that; you're just telling yourself stories; it's just ego. Then, toward the end, I got sick and really craved meat. I ate it and felt my density, firmness, and strength return; I felt like I existed. And I quickly recovered.
Furthermore, humans aren't designed to eat only vegetables; we don't have huge jaws like cows, or the same powerful stomachs and intestines. This means all our energy goes into digestion. Meat is necessary because it requires less energy to digest, plus the very structure of the jaw has evolutionarily allowed us to develop intelligence.
There has to be some balance, and both are possible. All this vegetarian nonsense is just brainwashing. Trust yourself sometimes.

And besides, we're not bugs that only eat leaves.xD

In my experience, one week is not even the touching the (detoxification phase). When you felt sick that is usually the (toxins and poisons) coming out of you that you have had stored for years, because as soon as you eat a lighter diet, the body starts cleaning itself up. And many people panic at this point and think they are dying or getting worse, when in fact its just the (toxins coming out). A little education helps, less leaves, more fruit & nut, exercise, massage, rest ect...

Humans are closer to frugivores than any other species, this is a scientific fact, our entire biology and anatomy says so. Yes we have evolved and adapted to meat and animal products but we are not carnivores or true omnivores, we simply do not have the physiological characteristics to hunt and kill an animal and then enjoy the raw blood, flesh and bones like a carnivore or omnivore does. We naturally find the raw flesh, bone, organs, guts ect... repulsive, rather we need to clean it and cook and dress it with herbs, salt and flavors to make it palatable to our human taste buds.

That in itself should reveal a lot that is not our species specific food, rather what we've become (used to), and when you eat certain food your gut microbiome changes, you even develop parasites that now crave that food, and yes we can survive, but that does not mean its the optimal.

We are opportunistic omnivores at most, but ideally the human prefers the fruit of the tree, its the easiest and most visually  / sensory appealing food for us, our bodies being upright and hands are designed to pick fruit off a tree, its practically effortless compared to the challenge of hunting and killing and cleaning and preparing an animal for food.

I feel if people want to eat animals they should hunt and kill and do the whole process themselves, because its something that psychologically most humans simply cannot do, and that in itself will reveal if its really right for you.

A lot of what you shared is outdated misinformation. Hope this helps clear things up.

From an evolutionary point of view we arent herbivores but omnivores. With that being said i think the average person would benefit from eating less meat. But there is a lot more thats wrong with the way we feed ourselves, on a systemic level.

About the way we handle animals, its the most triggering part of humanity for me... im disgusted to think about it. If i would be a dictator on earth, it would be the first thing i would change.

You should just stop trying to be something.

Cringe anti-human spirituality or making any topic a non-duality lecture 👎

Humans aren't designed to eat only plant foods, especially growing organisms. And the information is actually newer, encompassing a whole range of research, including genetics and biology.
The idea that you'll become cleaner and feel better is merely a correlation, which isn't cause and effect. It could also be a matter of personal experience, which, moreover, can't be a criterion for truth—personal experience is only yours, and it might not apply to someone else.

If humanity came together to focus on solving a problem, we would easily solve 80% of our systemic problems in a decade. In your example lets say most people from first world countries and developing countries put down just 15 dollars to finance a malaria-prevention plan. If we  calculate with about 5 billion people - which i think would be fair to assume could affor 15 dollars for that - we made 75 billion dollars. Dont you think that would be a huge impact ? And then next year you give 15 dollars for something else. I havent tought this through at all, this is just a thought experimetn from my part. :D

That's 75 billion dollars that could be spent on curing cancer.

You can always argue that there is one thing everybody should do which is good. But the safest bet is letting people find out what they're best at and doing that thing. Let people who are good at curing cancer cure cancer. Let people who are good at being vegan activists be vegan activists.

@Carl-Richard My point wasnt directed at the original topic. You just asked: should everybody do this thing? And my point is, yes if humanity worked together as a whole, we would be able to do wonders compared to how much we manage to accomplish currently. Even just something as small as donating 15 dollars would do wonders if everyone took part in it. Imagine a corporation that runs on this premise. I googled and 40 billion dollars annually would solve world hunger. Again this isnt a flashed out idea, just an example.

@Ramasta9 Eating meat does cause disruptions spiritually, but the point is to be materialistic and eat meat, building muscles, and be fine with killing.

There's a deeper intelligence which is not limited to mind, that of our body's. Treat it well, and you're good. It could mean eating no meat or eating meat everyday. Just eat whatever suits your daily needs.

What are you talking about? Humans are carnivores through and through. Even our social dynamics represent something carnivorous. We extract energy from other vertebrates for a living.

Of course.. apes and monkeys are known for eating meat..

@Someone here it's literally slavery that's out of convenience for us. All people can survive just fine without it.

You've simply got a belief about meat. It's a collective belief. It's your comfort zone. You're making it reality.

Easy: vote for a government that uses tax dollars to solve world hunger.

You're saying just because we can do something good, doesn't mean we should? a few centuries back you'd be saying the same about getting rid of slaves.
