Family Separation Policy (2018)

Under Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy, thousands of children were forcibly separated from their parents at the border.

Kids were kept in cages / detention facilities with foil blankets, sometimes for weeks or months. Records were poorly kept, hundreds of kids were never reunited with their families. The images and sounds of children crying for their parents shocked the world.

What's fucked up is Instead of showing compassion, Trump doubled down, defending the policy and blaming Democrats.

White nationalist rally in Charlottesville turned violent. Heather Heyer was killed.Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides.” Just and absolute fucking refusal to directly condemn neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
