Do you get any bloating issues? I've heard that can be an issue due to the water retention unless you take it in a smaller dose. But then again, everybody's body reacts differently.

Only If I take over 5g in one dose - so I tend to split it up.

I notice greater thirst but not bloating. I drink around 3-4L of water a day, not including from the vegetables I eat.

The water retained is experienced as intramuscular rather than the typical water retention you feel when it is in surrounding tissues.

Hard to describe - I feel fuller and more powerful!

Still going strong at it :)

Did 5 grams for a couple of months.
Personally i did not feel anything.

I have not really found any nootropics that have wowed me.
Except perhaps L-Theanine, but i use it more for sleep and settling my mind if i need to do something stressful.

What I've been told for creatine is you have to take it a long time to build it up in your muscles, like 6 months, to start to notice a difference, more power with high intensity activities.

The problem with my stack is that I did not take the time to systematically implement one supplement at a time for a long enough time to conclude what has which effect, but my current stack is absolutely working. I'm speaking a 100% boost in focus,memory, energy and motivation.

One thing I'm doing is having 10ML of high quality omega 3 fish oil per day for 4 months. It takes that long to change your brain's fatty acid profile ( which is why many people quit omega3's claiming the " don't feel anything ".

I'm on getting close to month two and, in spite of not being able to claim it with 100% certainty due to what I just said, I feel it's really doing something good. My mind feels like a japanese kung-fu master vs the old mentally sclerotic couch potato.
Taking a 10cc scoop of creatine per day also, together with more nootropics. I'll share my stack later sometime, and there is lots of stuff I'm experiment with ( see my post about Citrulline Malate )
