Apology

I don't know if this will mean anything to anyone here, because i don't really know any of you, but I would like to apologise for my previous behaviour when I was drunk on a few messages. 

Personally I have been affected by the solipsism video which many others also seem to have been affected by. It seems that we can't come to a real conclusion on this. The way it affected me personally is that I stopped caring how I treat others to a certain extent, hence the drunk offensive messages. This is a danger when you start believing in solipsism. Even if solipsism is the case, it is much healthier to believe that other people DO exist. 

I started to look at people on this forum as just figments of my imagination, which gave me the right (in my twisted mind) to treat them however I wanted, because I can't see them, and I am just imagining them anyway, so what does it matter what I say?

At the end of the day, it DOES matter how you treat other people, and I believe karma exists. That's why I'm reaching out to the people of this forum and apologising, and wishing everyone all the best.

Solipsism is just some idea that cannot be proven or disproven.

It doesn't matter to me personally at all. It shouldn't for you either  Do not let it change your behavior - however:

Operating out of personal integrity IS an existential matter. Lies (mistreatment of others to get something you need) are existential, not moral.

If you lie, cheat, steal, treat others poorly (all forms of lies, all forms of un-TRUTH to serve some self agenda) - it is going to have consequences. It causes a split between your experience of reality and your being. A crack. You pollute your experience, that is pure, with actions that are not true to you. Anxiety forms, regret, attacks of the conscience when you do not expect. You ruin your experience. And integrity lowers the structural soundness of everything - cement with a crack is weakened. Less effective. It cannot hold up to pressure without collapse. So, you are weakened as a person. Less effective. Shatter under pressure. Like the cracked cement. 

This happens to your consciousness - it is not a moral issue. It is existential. 

Just because we do not see the consequences - does not mean they do not exist. 

I suppose this apology is a form of absolution...

But in the end, I will just send, ALL THE E-HUGS to you <3

Good insight, especially the 'belief' part.

Solipsism is a valid relative perspective, but so is the opposite point of view. "Enlightenment" is about seeing relative perspectives for what they really are (and recognizing that which is the source/sum/essence of all relative things); living a good life is about discerning between helpful/healthy and unhelpful/unhealthy perspectives. And as far as helpful & healthy perspectives go, solipsism is pretty damn near the very bottom of the list.

If you can stop caring how you treat others, you must also know that you can change that to really care how you treat other’s.

 

It’s your dream, you are the only author of your dream. Whether You can or you can’t, is always your own prerogative.

 

The point is, is to recognise what feels true and right for you only. How do you want to be treated, find that out first and then always treat yourself the way you prefer to be treated. Then understand that others, including animals are all extensions of the same capacity to experience sensation and feeling as is the case with all sentient organisms with a nervous system.

 

I watched the Solipsism video several times, it affected me personally in a very positive way. I’ve never felt happier and more content than I do now. Leo’s videos have changed my life for the betterment and good.

How is solipsism bottom of the list it’s the most logical thing that every time you run from it it’ll suck you back in.

When mystics say “there are no Others” they don’t mean that others aren’t having an experience or perspective. They mean on the highest level you are the same One Awareness in different form and perspectives. There is only One Being but that doesn’t mean there aren’t others relatively

I think psychedelics can act to destroy beliefs. 

But more often than not, I see people have an experience that takes the ego with them into it, rather than stripping it away. 

It's the meaning attributed to the trips that is to be wary of. Our interpretation is often done through the lense of the false self. 

I believe that the realisation of oneness has to happen in a sober state for it to be integrated, else it is a temporary state change. 

To be clear I am not against psychedelics - done em all but retired. 

They just didn't do much for me personally. They didn't act as the best pointer for me.

In my experience, it is the opposite. I have never been so connected to Love and Reality (thus, Truth) than when I was on the psychedelic path.
