Conscious Politics — ¿The End Goal?

5 posts in this topic

Imagine if every person in the world was on the same level of consciousness as Leo, or whoever the fuck you think has got this shit down pretty well. Okay? Muhammed, Jesus, Buddha, Paramashiva, Ralston, Ibn fucking Arabi, don't care. Just imagine that everyone were AWAKE.

Now, how do you imagine society would work? Do you think there would even be a government? Systems in place to make sure things run smoothly? Would there be laws & regulations? Policies and bills? Mayors and governors and presidents? Lawyers and judges and militaries? Would there be tax or government services? How about systems of governance, like democracy or bureaucracy or dictatorial rule? Would anybody be in charge of anything? How would people decide on the color of the flag of their country and where to draw the borders that seperate it from the next one? Who's to say that we wouldn't all live in the same country, that being God's Country, that place which exists everywhere?

All this is to show that, perhaps, just maybe, if everyone were enlightened (an impossible If, just a thought experiment, chill out), then we would not face any problems of governance or society, simply because, from one angle, no one would give a shit. Problems of governance and society all collapse in the face of not giving a shit. When you don't give a shit, everything works out just fine, because you don't gotta do survival and make sure everything is okay. You just exist. This why animals don't have government. Not because they are stupid. but because they don't givva shit.

You have a point. Society would not have made it to where it is today if every human were concerned with sitting on their spiritual cushion. We need asleep people to work construction because it will be hard to build cities with awake people. And we need asleep people to procreate the construction workers. Everything is for everything else. You get in where fit in.

It's precisely because they're too stupid.

Government requires intelligence.

Everything you point to as an example of an unconscious society is actually an example of emergent solutions from evolutionary intelligence.

To address your larger point, such as society of enlightened people is impossible right now. Society requires many people to be cogs in the machine, not radical sages. Someone has to pick fruit, clean toilets, fight wars, cut down trees, deliver packages, stock shelves, do landscaping, drive Uber, work assembly lines, fix cars, load trucks, work tech support, be a bank teller, babysit kids, answer phone calls, package food, work McDonalds, etc.

AI and other tech may replace some or even all of these roles eventually, but we're not there yet. And even if all these jobs got replaced tomorrow, people's psychology would not fundamentally have shifted. All that takes time.

Well, yeah, society would be radically different.

As of right now, society and government runs on mindless ambition and delusion. People chasing their own tail and running away from death. Get this, every ambitious person is running from Death and for the most part, are crazy self-deceived.

The ideal scenario would be to automate everything and raise the collective consciousness of mankind -- by confronting Death. And Then after the individual dies, he may choose if he wants to explore something, if he still has any curiosity in illusion, if so he may explore, if not he just stay where he is and bliss out.

A society of enlightened people would be possible if technology made the struggle for survival unnecessary. The moment your survival is at stake, the rule that prevails is: me first, then you. And from here to war is only a step. When you and your children are hungry, you look for food, doesn't matter how
