It’s a great time to be a philosopher. Read books, talk with AI and make videos about it. Hard to monetize in the short term but plenty of people figure it out in different ways.

Alternatively, start an unrelated business, watch your own internal world like a hawk, and share your findings with the world now that you're financially independent. That way your YouTube channel will be less corrupted, as you're not financially dependent on views.

@jacknine119 Are you prepared to stop investigating reality and instead dedicate your life to logical inconsistencies five our ten steps away from the apparent meaning you associate with your hard fought concepts and perspectives?

Make no mistake about it, philosophy proper (philosophy as a discipline) is a pursuit into that which is not, in other terms: into that which we once craved. It begins no differently to how it ends, a rejection of coherence through narrative and appearance, it is a compulsion against telos and thus a nihilism.

It is systematised maturity, and you will have no ability to predict whether this were the better approach, it will be delusional bravery.

If you do it correctly some of the faces of the people you meet will bear marks of the contemplation of your homicide, since they will identify in you the inverse of faults they know they have to carry forever, if you do it correctly a fly may become more interesting than yourself.

You'll become serious, uncharmingly serious, because the condition for the lighthearted and humorous is the inverse of all you take reality to be, but you already considered all those inverses a hundred times over and would laugh as much when they were summoned as when they weren't.

Everything becomes principles that carry the weight of predictions, and every fallacious prediction is a review as to the validity of the universality in that principle and thus a review of their origins in vanishing memories that you initially formed because they mattered to someone you no longer are.

You dont need to read any books philosophy is I am trying to understand what I am.  Society will make you think you need to read all the other philosophers but you dont, you just need the general information then you can make up whatever you want. Just read the main quotes and think how does this relate to me and life?

For instance I became a philosopher when I hear in the bible that God is everything and then I questioned if God is everything God must be the lamp post. That's philosophy.

All of that is answered in the video: An Intro To Serious Philosophy.

If you follow that advice you will become a great philosopher. If you don't, you won't.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Philosophy is typically not very lucrative because I think that on a baseline it doesn't contribute much to base survival. Most philosophers don't provide insight that are all that original or high quality. Academic philosophy tends to be by the books and incestious.

We don't need that many serious philosophers overall. Those who want to learn but not commit to hardcore learning can learn from those few who do.
