If fluoride binds so strongly to your teeth, what do you think it does to the rest of the structures in your body?

I'm a weirdo, but for me, the straw that broke the camel's back is that it increases the activity of an enzyme that converts glutamate to GABA. It essentially lowers your brain activity. There are many studies showing IQ decreases from fluoride. But it also affects many more things in the body.

It seems keto diet does the same btw.

Nothing will prevent Willy.

I'm assuming you're using erithritol as a harmless sweetener? looks pretty optional to me, but I understand that you might want your brushing experience to be more pleasant.

One downside of home made coconut oil toothpaste is that if you experience cold winters, this can clog your sink as you spit, so you have to remember to run hot water

Erithritol does make brushing much more pleasant. It also slows down bacterial growth, similar to xylitol (which would also work in a toothpaste). So it's a double win. Worth noting that I ground it into a powder, to avoid scratching the enamel with big crystals.

Thanks for the oil warning, I didn't think of that.
