I don’t get it lol but it’s okay. The title made me laugh a little. Like what is this forum😂😂

One thing I can say about 3D is that it’s the self that creates the perception of 3D in my experience. So you feel like “I’m here”, and the world is away from you “over there” so it creates the perception of depth (3D). You don’t see 3D with your eyes, you only see 2D, but 3D is like a different perception

@Sugarcoat There is no empty space between you and things its a mental construct of nothing that dosent exist in physical reality(you cant show me it). The distance and separation exist in your mind. The idea of 'me' that you put around the outline of your body creates a seperation as well, I am here and that is over there, it is a way for you to tell where 'you' are. The only reason you feel that way is cause you have an mental idea of yourself. Dreams are in 2D and reality is in 2D cause its a dream.

Physics has already proven space and time are doomed. That means they never existed.

I don’t know if the self is purely mental. But it creates the sense of a real physical reality too. It’s like the base appearance, maybe the base illusion, then everything else comes as a by product of that.

@Sugarcoat Its like beauty. Beauty takes up the entire field of view by default. In order to point out something is beautiful you must use an empty language cell and put the idea of not beautiful in it to point at what you find beautiful because its always there.

The samething is done with me. Me is everywhere all the time but in order to point out where we are in me we must create an empty language cell and put the idea of not me in it to point at ourselves.

The illusion is that me isnt there by default.

I wouldn't describe it as 2D.

It's Consciousness, with 3D space being one form of it.

Beautiful is the resonance of the letters and symbols in your mind, or the symmetry of an image or its proximity to the golden mean. As an obvious clear example: We'd struggle to equate the word Xngggakaka to beautiful, or a very distorted image pattern, even if we tried. This is why many feminine names have certain tones and sounds, also why certain people appear beautiful universally. - Not attractive—that's a different factor, but beautiful. *Some of this helps demonstrate how language structures shapes reality.

We can certainly go against this innate harmony and structure, to say anything is beautiful, but it doesn't negate that it exists when we attune to it. A bit like you can ignore nature and live in a city, but when you start focusing on nature again, there it will be.

@BlueOak just because you get bored of living in a city doesn't mean its beauty goes away. Its a survival mechanism thats built into the body. Anything can be seen on any metaphysical way at any time because all metaphysical concepts are there by default its just wethere or not you want to use them. Its survival.

You are going against inate harmony when you say something isn't beautiful the act of doing it is going against the inate harmony.

Standing or sitting where you are right now. Anger lust happiness boredom laziness every feeling is in your fov. Wether you choose to react to one is up to you.

Yeah I wasn't equating cities to being ugly, they can be, but there are some fine ones out there.

But I disagree that all things are beautiful. Unless you are going to say all things are ugly, in which case you are making a purely relativist argument, and okay.

If not:

In life there are certain things which create beauty without logical thought due to there being an existing framework for it; one is the golden mean ratio , creating natural symmetry. This is a natural occurrence in plants, animals etc but applies to all things. Another is the harmonic sounds of certain sounds and symbols. This is why a lot of feminine names have an 'a' on the end, or have 'ell; in them for example, due to our language structure, these tones evoke certain responses when spoken or seen.

As for your comment here:

Standing or sitting where you are right now. Anger lust happiness boredom laziness every feeling is in your fov. Wether you choose to react to one is up to you.

Yes but I wouldn't override my anger and call it happiness, for example, nor would I override my established framework for ugly and call it beautiful for the sake of telling myself it's possible, I already know it's possible, I created it.

@BlueOak i know you weren't saying cities are ugly you are saying they are beautiful and then you get sick of them and they become ugly and then you see nature and say thats beautiful. Nature isn't inherently beautiful you only say that cause you are enclosed within a safe city and not being hunted. If you went into nature and bear mauled you you wouldn't say nature is beautiful. If you sat in a wet fart smelling swamp you wouldn't say this is beautiful. If you stood on the edge of an erupting volcano you wouldn't say this is beautiful.

The beauty you saw in the city when you first get there dosent dissapear after 15 years and the beauty in nature dosent re appear after you lived in a city for 15 years. Its just you doing it both are always there.

You aren't overriding any emotion you are choosing to feel the emotion.

Logic will shrink metaphysical concepts to nothing, that are always there and still there even if you feel like they are not there.

You aren't getting the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder its not objective and any object can be viewed or seen in any metaphysical way and you are choosing to see it as a certain way based on your survival.

If survival wasn't in question there would be no reason for a bear mauling you to not be beautiful and to pick anything other than beauty is retarded.

To pick to not see beauty and perfection everywhere is retarded but we must survive.

@aurum When I ate 20 grams of shrooms the background and the foreground merged together and I was in 2d. No more body just a flat screen and me looking at it. It felt like a portal was opening up behind my head but it was actually just the idea that I have a head disappearing.

Once you reach that stage it feels like you are in a computer.

This reminds me of when I almost completely dissolved my self. The world had lost almost all its 3D depth, it was almost like flat. Lacking substance. That’s why I say the self created depth perception

I understand what you’re getting at, I just think it’s too limited of a description for understanding what Consciousness is.

Consciousness is not 2D. It could be 3D, 1D, 2D, 4D, 10D, whatever.

Consciousness is all dimensions.

@Schizophonia yes dry. I was drinking with my friends playing league one night and I was growing shrooms and dried them out. Since I had liquid courage I just ate 90 percent of left  overs I had. I didnt see anything trippy until in the middle of a game I felt like something scary was coming up behind me. I kept looking behind me but there was nothing there and when I turned my head it was always behind me. I was spinning around in circle cause it kept feeling like something scary was coming up behind me and I realized its in my head and just sat there and let the fear flow through me.

Then I fuzed together with reality and everything became 2d.

So I had roughly 15 beer and close to 20 grams of shrooms. I was gone but it wasn't as scary as I thought it was just super fking weird.

So I had roughly 15 beer and close to 29 grams of shrooms. I was gone but it wasn't as scary as I thought it was just super fking weird.

But it's huge ?

A big dose is supposed to be like 5g.

@Schizophonia i was completely aware and sober the entire time. The only time I freaked out is when reality turned into waves of blue and red and purple light. I could still move my hands but it was like they were under a blanket I couldn't see them but I could see their outlines. I was moving around my house and it was like I was in editor mode of a video game. Even an alien came and mind wiped me and I didn't freak out. Weirdest shit I have ever seen. The entire 20 gram trip lasted 1 hour and went away. I even saw akashic records.

Its sort of like seeing deeper and deeper into light until you see a wave if light and look into it and see everything is like a very complex weird computer system with tubes and shit.

Sort of like a mac book monitor where the computer is inside the monitor. If you look close enough you can see the computer behind the screen.
