Before And After Enlightenment

Any gurus, or anyone that you consider to be enlightened, did you know about them before they were enlightened. Have you ever witnessed the transition in anyone. Not the transition itself, but the before and after like you would see a person going from being broke to rich. Anyone have any stories or videos to share of an enlightened being now and what they were like before enlightenment?

BTW I have most of Leo's profound philosophical videos saved on a Flash . What if he went to Hawaii one day to take a vacation and took down his website and all of his youtube videos?  Does that mean the most precious treasure on earth will be lost forever ?

He said he's awake, not enlightened. There's a supposed difference. Awakening to infinity and God consciousness is not enlightenment. He doesn't even endorse the term as much anymore. Says it's human bullshit; at least how we see it.

I bet you there's no one who'll be able to answer the OP's question. We're all calling people enlightened not knowing what they were like before. Knowledge is not enlightenment. A person siting on a throne talking shit is not enlightenment. A person telling you wise stuff is not enlightenment. A monk in a cave is not enlightened. A person saying they don't have a self is not enlightenment. A person period is not enlightenment. We just need to see examples of what we wish to become so we can believe in it ourselves. I want to become like that person, so we slap on a label and call it enlightenment and now we pursue it not knowing the transitional process and who they were before. 

I will wait for examples, though, and see what we call enlightenment in a person before and after.

Yeah it's not a cult but you are being told that only Leo understands consciousness and awakening. Then what's the use of teaching us through his videos and through this forum ? Isn't it for us to reach to the same understanding he has ? Or maybe I'm missing something here .

I mean listen to ekchart tolle's story. Miserable, suicidal for 28 years. Then one day woke up enlightened. Was in perfect bliss all the time. You probably heard the story.

Exactly what you've shared is fine. I'm just trying to see something here (or not). All you've heard about Eckhart are stories. That's fine. I heard his story. How can I say someone's enlightened just from a story I heard.
