Mmm, heavy metals, my favourite side dish.

It depends on where it is farmed and also on the size of the fish.
You can eat small fish like sardines as much as you want.

Soon we will have ponds with farmed fish inside completely free of heavy metals, it is only a matter of time.

Vegetables are full of calcium.

Only some of them, and none of it absorbs very well

Iron is easy to supplement.

Non heme iron again absorbs badly unlike heme iron from meat and I refuse to be another version of Bryan Johnson. That's an answer to you as well @Ero It's dubious whether any kind of supplementation as we know it today is good for you anyway

You still need to take omega 3 supplements, even as a meat eater.

No, you can just eat fish, which is superior to any other source anyway

Zinc is easy to supplement.

Long term zinc supplementation can cause copper deficiency, disruption of mineral balance, gastrointestinal issues and so on. Why not just be a real man about it and have some meat, instead of being a meatless soyboy

You troll lol but actually i've never seen a video like that with bean bowls.

It says a lot on what foods we really evolved around and therefore developed neurological patterns associated with it in the reward circuit.

That is why the vegans try to make look everything like beef or chicken to trick their mind but you can't fake it to the body.

Growing an animal is way easier.

Lab grown would be fully automated. No salaries to pay, no food and land necessary. The mass meat industry will simply be undercut. There will probably still be some high-end, "free-roam" animal industry for all the rich people who would like to eat the real thing.

That's actually funny. It trips me up that a person who speaks of longevity and life-long well-being looks like a vulture.

That's what this all is about. You guys don't give a shit about nutrition or actually finding out what is healthy or not.

You are just insecure in your masculinity and feel the need to overcompensate.

Chimps, lol.

@Schizophonia The heavy metals are indeed a reason to significantly reduce your fish intake. That, and the catastrophic effects fishing has (the doc @Bobby_2021 pointed out) are the reason this is not sustainable.

Most of the fish found in France is local or imported from Scandinavia.
Don't watch alarmist documentaries filmed in the China Sea for vegan propaganda purposes, and even there they finally manage to more or less manage the reproduction of the species and stabilize their production.

Well I mean, it's not that much about insecurity but one must wonder, if vegan diet makes you literaly objectively physically weaker then logically the term soyboy would be accurate, not only because you likely literaly eat soy on a semi regular basis but also because of these aforementioned deficiencies. I mean I would certainly equate manliness much more with a diet that involves meat than the one that lacks meat

Its ironic that this obsession is what makes you less masculine and actually an antithesis to what a real man is.

A man is supposed to be confident, stoic, able to endure harsh conditions, grounded in higher values, thinking big vs focusing on petty things.

And you are obsessed with your looks, like a little girl, living in comfort, and stuffing your belly.  Those are all feminine qualities.

God forbid someone thinks that your muscles are not big enough.

God forbid people think that you are a soy boy. You are so afraid of it, you think it is some bad insult, lol.

You are obsessed with external opinions instead of being grounded in your own principles.

All about pretending and not being.

Pathetic

@Schizophonia meat has even less than 350 ckal?

More according to the amount of fat + it's way easier to eat 100g of meat that 100g of beans weighed raw.

30 minutes ago, Something Funny said:

Yes, you also have other legumes, and nuts, and grains, and oils, and seeds.

Yes of course, if you can do it that way it's great. My point is that eating like that is more expensive and basing your diet on beans or grains is full of problems.

I feel the same with fossil fuels and energy, fast fashion industry, etc. While you are on the right side of history, I think you have to accept the fact that very few people are willing to sacrifice to live virtuous lives. That is one of the realizations that helps you to move from Stage Green to Stage Yellow. This is one of the reason I am pursuing highly technical fields, because I believe without fundamentally disruptive technological advancement, the Game A capitalist dynamics will lead to Earth's total destruction. So we simply have to beat them at their own game - by creating the alternatives that are so much better than the status quo that continuing would it would be unattractive to even the most myopic and hedonistic person.

It's just an honest observation

Sounds like a slave thinking to me. Also a set of values dictated to you by women (as a collective). Not saying embodying these qualities sometimes isn't usefull but I don't hold that shit like a religion. Seems like you are quite keen on following various religions like a slave.

That's why I don't exercise for big muscles. Only occassionally cause of the sedentary lifestyle we're living nowadays, to keep myself healthy

I wouldn't be afraid of it literaly because I am not eating soy in the first place LOL seems like it would effect you much more tho. You seem quite emotional. You can only be insecure about something that is actually true or could ne true about you. In most cases. Not all of course.

Everyone needs external opinions. That can never go away
