  1. @non_nothing I'm happy for your permanent relief. Nice post, very inspiring! Have you been practising self-inquiry with meditation?
  2. @Belay kelemework I suggest you watch different videos more than watching the same one many times. After you have watched the video: "What is the Devil?". What do you think the devil is? If you think it's something outside of you, then check again. The devil is a metaphor for selfishness. There's no actual devil, it's just you when you only care about yourself and to hell with others. Try imagining a world where you are watching from the outside, just as an observer. That'll be God minus the devil.
  3. Check this out: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabia_of_Basra
  4. @PetarKa A thought of a banana is not a real banana. That's all you need to remember to solve your problems. Stop believing the thought, and start looking for the actual banana. Experience the banana, see how it looks like, how it feels like, how it smells like, and how it tastes like. That will be Truth.
  5. @clouffy The fact that you asked us here, suggests that you probably are gonna do well. So don't worry, you're in capable hands. I'd say, roll with the skid. Give yourself a break, have some time with full absolute acceptance of whatever you do or think or feel, without judging or criticising. Express everything inside of you until you become completely empty, that's where you find yourself. So if you feel like screaming, do it. If you feel hungry, eat. If you feel lonely, go out with friends. If you love someone, tell them or say it to strangers (online is a good place for that). That'll release all of the stress that you've been accumulating over the years. And you'll become very relaxed and peaceful. Only then will you find exactly what you need. The point of depression is directing you to find your authentic self, which you've been running away from all the time. It worked for me, and it was very counter-intuitive. Good luck.
  6. @Highest It's like becoming a baby again. You know nothing, but in the same time, you know everything. You are one infinite field of consciousness, you are everyone and everything.
  7. @Rigel Observe figure #every_prophet: "You're gonna rot in hell and suffering if you disobey God. You're gonna be rewarded with the highest joys if you don't. That's not me being arrogant, greedy, or a liar, it is but the truth. You don't really have a choice, so pray and may God have mercy on your soul. I'm a prophet of mercy for those who believe, and of an eternal torment for those who disobey." _____ Now, that being said, results are different. You might succeed, and you might fail. You might even get killed. Are you ready to ongo such endeavour? Probably not. But you can definitely find other ways.
  8. God is the perfect word. Because it's really Wow! It's like how come I couldn't see It before? Oh my God! Amazing! Hallelujah! God implies (Infinite Intelligence + Infinite Love + Infinite Beauty) = Absolute Infinity.
  9. What if I have never experienced no-experience before?
  10. @Aakash @Ethankahn Can I talk about experiences I never had?
  11. @Ethankahn You're welcome at all times ?
  12. Science is completely accepted here. And in fact, it's the foundation of this work. Some members criticise science because it's just too materialistic in its approach to understanding reality, and therefore limited. We go beyond mainstream science and we accept more perspective. Logic is kind of flawed, but is still useful. We don't reject logic, but rather, we question it. Philosophy is good, but not good enough. It can keep you stuck in theory land speculating, without ever getting down to reality, and actually work, and embody the concepts. Feel free to ask anything on this forum, the guys here are extremely kind and friendly and open-minded. They will do their best to help others. Have a great day!
  13. Like what exactly? Please elaborate.
  14. @fewrocker It's really more of a subjective matter. Do you feel thankful for what you have? Do you feel that you're gonna have a positive impression on humanity? Do you think that you have the ability to decrease human suffering?
  15. @Shakazulu Me too bro, and I'm not perfect. I like those things. But, for me, peace of mind is way more important.
  16. @Mezanti I agree. Right now, we need to focus on improving ourselves so that then we can help others. Cheers man! And good luck
  17. You win the peace of mind, and you avoid suffering. What else could you ever ask for?
  18. @Miavono There are a lot of traps, it's pointless to name them. The trick is to be mindful and aware all the time, and to be radically open-minded, and to do the work.
  19. Animals go from point A (hunger, or horniness for example) to point Z (eating, and having sex) directly. Mankind goes from point A to point Z through B, C, D, E, F, etc... Mankind creates hell out of nowhere to feed their egoic complexities.
  20. @Mezanti I don't think that's possible. A government is a very complex system, changing one person is gonna make allergic reactions to the system strong enough to get the foreign body killed, attacked, threatened, set up, or at least kicked out. You see, the government is a collective ego, and most politicians (at least the ones who have the most power and influence) are stage orange materialists, the only thing that holds their stranglehold together is their common selfish egoic devilish agenda. Imagine putting one sheep among 10 wolves, that's how it works in every system, because that provides stability for the whole system. If you want to change the government, you need to change it as a whole, which obviously is not possible because it's a complex network of individuals that share the same interests. The other and only way in my opinion is the media, but of course that's not easy. Take Actualized.org for example, it's a great rare tool for developing people up the spiral, and Leo is nailing it there, but that's not enough. The mindset of the collective system needs to change in order to make real effective changes. Which, of course, requires a lot of time and effort and energy and money. Media is power.
  21. What is an ego? How do you know that other living beings don't suffer? For what I know, suffering is an experience.
  22. What do you mean by confusion?
  23. Health, (food, sex, repeat). Health, (hunger, horniness, repeat).
