  1. @Bobby_2021 So it sounds like when speaking in terms of strict mathematicly-natured stuff, this is true. But in normal human matters, as @zurew is suggesting, agnosticism is a thing.
  2. I think the word I'm looking for is 'neutrality ' or 'agnostic'. What I'm wondering is if that's actually a thing. Can you truly be 'agnostic' about a thing, especially when it comes to debating concepts / ideas. To be agnostic about the existence of Jesus existence for example, is to deny his existence but be open to the possibility of changing your mind to accept his existence. So you are always either 0 or 1. There is no 0.5... right?
  3. @Leo GuraRecently I've been speaking with an enthusiastic materialist and rationalist. What would your response be if they say: "Why would I ingest DMT if there isn't evidence of a repeatable experiment with a clear outcome and time-frame in which the outcome can be attained? This is not rational! This is NONSENSE! I am opening myself up to my mind being manipulated!"
  4. Nice! This is very much appreciated. If you take requests, mine would be: A Critique of Rationalism Quantum Mechanics Debunks Materialism An Introduction to Spiral Dynamics
  5. Many beings like and including Meher Baba sometimes dumb their words down to resonate with a seeker from where they stand. It may appear they are making untruthful statements, buts its only for the benefit of the seeker.
  6. I am yet to discover a being who is Selfless 24/7 who recommends psychedelics.
  7. Have read 4 of his books including God Speaks + spent over a year and a half with a 'God-Man' of his caliber. The real deal. You have struck Gold.
  8. Being competitive isn't necessary. It's harmful, especially if you are comparing your self-image with the image of somebody else. Collaboration, not competition. If you do participate in competition (e.g. a team sport), be unattached to winning or losing.
  9. Yes, have felt this way. Do away with comparing yourself to how you were in the past and do what you can in acceptance, today
  10. A feeling of certainty.
  11. Who are these people? Why do you interact with them? Why do you let it affect you? In what ways are you a idiot? What do you think you should do about it and why?
  12. I've found Daniel to be exceptional in his insight to therapeutic practice. He's not afraid to share from direct experience, free-think, go outside the bounds of the red-tape in the industry, and really care for his clients. Some great points in his work: Seeing patients as people Highlighting the negatives of strongly encouraging therapists to push their patients to psychiatric drugs Highligting issues with the therapist/patient power dynamic
  13. Yes. Get organic and from a place grown where there isn't heaps of arsenic.
  14. 1. Yes, like anything, practice 2. No
  15. Very familiar with it. Grew up with a bipolar mother, saw her deeply depressed for years in total. Another close loved one has it, have been the one to aid them during manic episodes etc, seen it all. Experienced some severe depression myself but not bipolar related. It's an ongoing thing I am dedicated to helping my loved ones conquer. From my observations, direct experience, and current understanding: Want to not be depressed Run every day for weeks for 15 minutes like your life depends on it Have a small goal for each day, small steps
  16. @UNZARI Crikey! Just performed a forum search and found this, realizing I just posted him today. If mods want to take my post down now, fair enough, but damn, Mackler deserves to be highlighted!
  17. @AdamR95 Yes. They exist right now, and if you really want the Truth, you will find them. From what I've gathered in my experience, the reason they don't is because the vast majority of people aren't ripe for receival, so out of Love, it makes no sense to speak of it. What's effective is speaking with others where they're at. To guide the seeker from Level 4 to Level 5 instead of Level 4 to Level 6,000.
  18. Spirituality. Know who you are. Take care of the normal worldly things of course.
  19. @Davino The deepest I've come across. It helps to have had multiple awakening experiences to get a grasp on it. To really get to the mustard, having a realized Guru (Perfect Master or Avatar) in the physical is what I've found to be of utmost value. Masters like Baba Neem Karoli are extremely underrated. Until you've spent time in their presence, one can't truly appreciate their value.
  20. I'd caution generalizing every individual on here into one category. People are here for different reasons: some for the personal development, some to experience the Absolute, some to start arguments, some to appease their inner psychonaut, some seeking human connection etc. The most important questions: What are you? What is your motive for this post, defined in a single sentence? What are you hoping to get out of this post? What is the most immediate challenge in your life and what will you do about it? I'd encourage you to not be so concerned with what others are doing and the state of the world. Everything will fall into place the more you work on understanding yourself! ?️❤️
  21. She's the real deal
  22. Jed is shallow in comparison to what's out there (only going off his first book). If you really want depth, check out God Speaks by Meher Baba and God Talks with Arjuna by Paramahansa Yogananda.
