  1. @cetus56 If you think you need a guru then maybe you do. It’s just I personally don’t except any authority psychologically. This doesn’t mean I cant listen attentively to another. But one should be able to think for themselves. I’m sure you would agree??
  2. Knowledge in the psychological realm has no place what so ever. Unless you feel it does. Lol Its up to you ??‍♂️
  3. The “i” that seeks is the problem. And a centerless state does not depend upon time. Only the center moves in accordance to time. Psychologically there is no need for time whatsoever. Investigate..what is psychological time? Its pretty simple yet very important to grasp.
  4. I don’t see how taking notes is a good idea. To attend fully demands all your energy. Also if you thjnk it’s so necessary to learn from Leo, is it necessary to learn from anyone else. How do you know who has the goods?
  5. What are you trying to learn or accomplish?
  6. Like to go on headless walks with my son
  7. Inquiry into thought and the self is the only guide one needs lol Anything else is second hand. Second hand knowledge implies imitation, conformity, and contradiction. A duality between what is and what should be. Where there is division there is conflict, and when there is conflict, there is suffering. When there is suffering there is no compassion or love. Only when the center is not can beauty, compassion, and love bloom. An enlightened state implies no center, no me and becoming. No attatchmnet to become psychologically secure. Only then is there a centerless state, or “enlightenment” I really don’t like to use this word enlightenment but... lololol
  8. A state in which there’s No “I” to designate meanings ?
  9. We can’t know for sure anything of the Bible or Jesus. Especially with the obvious hidden messages in the Bible. And the fact that the writings have been influenced and altered biasly so many times lol
  10. Again the center would have to take credit for this one to lol
  11. I would say the opposite here. To me the negation of everything that man has invented would be getting closer to this “enlightened state”. To me by the negation of what has been put together by thought in the psychological realm allows for this state of liberation. A centerless state. First there’s freedom then one goes from there. It’s not freedom at the end of the tunnel. Like this motive in reward and punishment, where there is freedom at the end or “Heaven” I don’t know though. I’ve never read the Bible. I try to keep a simple mind. I would say from what I gather from the organized religions is there is a misunderstanding of the nature of thought and the self, “the center”
  12. Hey let go of each others ego’s !! lolololl
  13. @sgn yeah there’s a relationship until there done lol
  14. Lololol What a bunch of bs!!! You actually have someone seeing that they need to go about this alone and you antagonise. As one goes about learning about themselves they will see that everything gets more simplified. They will see that thought which is knowledge/time has no place in becoming free from the center. To become free of the limited structure of thought the whole movement of thought has to be investigated deeply, constantly, diligently. This is all we can do. We can’t investigate the infinity/the limitless because we use thought, that which is limited. We can only investigate thought. In this understanding the conditioned brain becomes quiet. And when the conditioned brain becomes quiet there can be a movment of the mind “insight”. In this insight there can be a freedom from the self, when the center “the me” is not meeting each moment with that of the past. There is no way, method, or path. Let him be. Let him try for himself. We need people who can light there own way through the dark. Hats off to you the one who walks alone ?
  15. I’m sorry that’s the way you see it. To me seeing and understanding what is actual is being responsible. That means understanding thought and it’s conditioned nature. And is there such a thing as an individual if thought which is conditioned is a shared attribute of all human beings. By the way as I have said before are we free of desire? Doesn’t desire influence action one way or another? It’s not an idea if you really grasp this. It’s an obvious fact when gone into deeply
  16. Lol.. that’s what I mean. To sit in zazen and try and stop thought implies an entity and a motive. A never ending conflict. It seems one would get caught in deception with such a method. Thought is very tricky lol
  17. schizophrenia seems to be a rather common trait between people. I would say 99% of people are schizophrenic then, as a guess Lol How can such a contradicting, fragmented mind that cannot even grasp reality grasp TRUTH? I assume truth is what u mean by objective reality.
  18. Who would be the entity stoping time and thought?
  19. I mean sensitive as in appreciating quiet and not needing constant stimulation. An in this freedom from the reactions in stimulation this make for a clearer mind. And in this quiet mind not burdened by those reactions there is a sense of peace. And when there is peace comes compassion. Education for my son is an issue that I am going to have to get at.
  20. What do u mean sensitive? Sensitive as in alert, sharp, observant, quiet, but attentive of body language and expression? If so It’s a good thing. But she must be protected psychologically. I understand your worry. I to have 2 year old and I think about that often. It’s our job to help the child become innocent. Innocent in the sense of incapable of being hurt psychologically. This is true responsibility when having a child. To help them learn how to navigate the conflicted nature of thought in relationship others and themselves. Eduction, family life, and other interactions must be watched closely. This is what I feel is necessary anyway.
