Sounds like a great exercise! Will try it out
  2. Happy Birthday Leo!! Thanks for contributing and making a change for thousands of people. I hope billions in years to come. Love from Norway.
  3. Dear Saba, as a performing musician at a very high level I would recommend: Short-term: -Dr Bach rescue spray (help immediatly control your nerves) -Grounding exercises: (Check out Peter Ralstons Zen Body Being on being grounded) -Breathing exercises: Wim hof-method Mindset: -Kenny Werner guided meditations (from the book effortless mastery) Long-term: -HoloSync, it really works
  4. Practice, become serious about it. FInd the balance between niché, craft and artistry. As an artist I can say; you will attract people if you develop an excellent craft and an excellent niché. This can take years to develop, but do it consistently, and do a lot of reasearch and it will sort itself out. Play with anyone, be open to other directions, seek out environments with people who play the kind of music you want to play, take lessons with your favorite artists if possible.
  5. I would work with body-awareness, since most traumas are stored in the body, and an emotion has bodily content. Simply feel your body from toe to top of your head. Do you feel everything? Chances are that you will miss a great deal, if you haven't practiced this much. Simply focus on the areas where you are tense or don't feel, get in touch with it, and relax. I know this sound stupidly simple, but I've practiced this myself one hour everyday and it has changed everything. I was constantly tensen in my chest, and some muscles I didn't know I had, and by focusing my awareness on them, and relaxing I have become much more grounded, and are systematically training the parts of my body to relax in situations where they tend to not. I can do this because I've spent a lot of time getting in touch with these body parts. FEEL THE BODY - RELAX.
  6. ...so, How's your Stockhausen listening sessions going? Get any high consciouness vibes?
  7. Haha, I would like to hear your preferances in music? Have you any listening experience with "high consciousness" music like Bach, Beethoven or modern composers like Stravinsky or even Stockhausen, Messian. Are you able to have a deep experience of Stockausen? He is a genious, but for most people it's just noise. Can you experience the depth of his music? Try to listen for 10 minutes to each of these Stockhausne pieces.. Metal heads are in general the most humble, good and including people I know of. Of course many smokes and has terrible diet, but if you compare them to other "cults" it's a lot healthier psycologically if you just cut the alcohol and terrible diet most of them consume.. Just compare them with fans "other" popular music. Metal festivals like Wacken, Download and Sweden Rock has almost no violence, just check the police rapports, people are very nice. I don't listen to metal anymore, but it saved my youth. No doubt.
  8. Check out TOMATIS-method and Music therapy in general! Read some books to learn about the frequencies impact on the body and mind, not just airy-fairy new age research. There is a lot of research done, and many good sources. Music has a lot of different purposes phsycologically as well, the music you use to work out, to relax, to empower yourself or to cry can be totally different. I am a musician myself, studying classical music. In my teens I listened and played a lot of Black Metal/Rock, and it really helped to get my life and passions on track, to get out aggression, to feel alive, to feel great.
  9. Try to put on a normal pair of jeans, doing deep belly breating that expands your abdomen in all directions. The waist bands on most jeans are not flexible enough. My diet is very clean and I am not fat at all.
  10. Please share any comfortable everyday clothes for physical flexibility. I want to buy flexible nice clothes without having to look like a hippie. Any one who knows of and can recommend: Jeans or pants (no sofa-jogging) with a high flexible elastic waist band? My belly breathing is suffering. Flexible belts Suits... For men and woman ...or any other flexible version of clothes that are usually tight and uncomfortable to wear.
  11. LOL! I was just trying to have a little fun with you. My serious advice would be: Shadow work, uncovering your childhood wovs, check out other sources, many great self-help/nonduality teachers out there.. No reason to be attached to one teacher, there are plenty of others that can help you with advices that can make you Enlightened, Actualized, Happy, Rich or whatever you desire. Contemplating WHY are you feeling panickly about it.
  12. Guys! ARE YOU ONLY INTERESTED IN OUTER LOOKS?
  13. Well.. I would recommend taking this as an opportunity to meditate, contemplate, go through his earlier videos, find out what you haven't embodied and spend time on working on it. Use the time dreaming about him to dream about your future. What would Leo want you to do? Maybe program your subconscious mind with affirmations like "I am not attached to Leo as a father figure, I just embody his material and advice" "I am growing everyday and are not attached to any guru/gura" ..or if you feel any romantic or sexual attraction towards Leo, use affirmations like "I am french-kissing Leo Gura in my white Ferrari in Las vegas", and visualise it as vividly as possible, making it very emotional and juicy.. Maybe send him a private message, being honest with him, asking why...why did he not upload the video? He promised!!! Tell him your feelings and be rock bottom honest, leaving nothing hidden, and you will be free from your mind and can move one (as suggested in Radical Honesty)..Maybe this can lead to greater things... What if this IS your zone of genious and life purpose? "Making people wise people releasing their advices when promised" You can be even more specific... "Make sure leaders in Consciousness/Actualization-youtube channels release their content every Sunday as expected" There is a lot of potential... Who said your life is about your life? Supporting a bigger cause, helping a larger movement with the right values to spread, making it BIG, HUGE, GREAT! A greater cause, the greatest movement of the 21th century!!!! MAKE AMERICA GR....Actualized.... Yes... YES!!! That's it!!!! MAKE AMERICA ACTUALIZED!!! MAKE AMERICA ENLIGHTENED!! Just some suggestions
  14. He is critical of direct experience as "proof", saying we should make a clear distinction between direct experience and making claims about the way cosmos is. He also comment on Deepek Chopra, calling him a charlatan, defender of pseudospirituality and pseudoscience, and even Deepek is explaining legimitate claims about the character of the experience of meditation, it is not how "it works". @Leo Gura What are your thoughts on this? Direct experience vs Science
  15. What a stiff-plastic-surgery-superificial-newage-badhaircut-bitch!!! (LOOOL PROJECTION LOOOL)
  16. http://www.livingearth.nu/chaga-coffee Check out this, low-acid coffee with chaga! I feel much better, normal coffee can feel like poison compared to this one.
  17. The woman with brown hair gives the impression of being a typical superficial-american-style-self-help-guru(projection LOL), but good documentary
  18. Okey folks. Peter Ralston knows it all. It's actually very simple. Check out his book "Zen body being". A body is "an object in space resting on the ground". So to be grounded means that your body is aligned to gravity and your muscles is relaxed. Buy the book, it explains it all and in bigger context! :-)
  19. Share exercises/tips/visualizations on how to ground yourself in your body! Background: I have noticed that I am very little grounded in my body. By that I mean that I am not standing steady on my feet. This has psychological reasons, like insecurities as well as phsycal. I feel it like my weight is more centered in my neck and the back of my shoulders, and also that I do not stand steady on my feet. This is very uncomfortable in social settings as I am aware of it, and I feel that this is a big pillar of my insecurities - not being grounded. A therapist I saw some time ago suggested doing some excersices for it. He is into spirituality himself, and also pointed out the importance of being grounded in your body. This is mainly because he saw some of his clients, coming from Ascension meditation who hasn't released their trauamas or where not grounded in their body. He said that if you're not grounded it can knock you off the peg in difficult times. He saw some of his clients have very superficial look in their eyes and no grounding in their body. (Not a spiritual childerness, but like a "naive superficial stupidity" as he called it) Also that if you are grounded in your body, you can transcend it as well. Osho talks about working towards reaching enlightment AND being earthly at the same time, as he calls his vision for "Zorba the Buddha" - the three C's: Consciousness, Compassion and Creativity. "As meditative as a Buddha, as Loving as a Khrisna and as Creative as a Michelangelo and a Leonardo DaVinci" My main aim is to be grounded: Standing steady on my own feet, feeling support from the earth, like I have deep roots, as steady and heavy as mountain rock. Relaxed, centered and with great confidence. Physical independent and physcal non-needy. I got some excersices: Exercise 1 Sit on a chair and take a deep breath and release it with a heavy sigh that presses your upper body downwards. The goal is to get the weight pushed down from your upper body, to your legs. Do this until you feel a warm sensation in your feet. Exercise2 Sit on a chair with your back straight. Take some deep breaths and let your belly be relaxed. Say the sound "Woooo" as deep and rich as possible, until you feel the lower part of your belly vibrate. Exercise 3 Get help from a friend. Stand straight on your feet and let the other person stand behind you and do the following: 1. Put the hands around your ankles and press them towards the ground 2. Put the hands around your knees and press them towards the ground 3. Put the hands around your hip and press it towards the ground 4. Put the hands upon your shoulders and press them down. 5. Put the hands around your neck and push your head upwards ...while you are standing on your feet. The goal is to get the body-weight more centered towards the ground. Please share your exercises/tips/visualisations on how to ground yourself in your body or tell us how you did it :-) -ART
  20. How do you practice your instrument with vizualisation? :-)
  21. @Leo Gura What are your thoughts on the US election-results? Are you optimistic about the relationship between "your" countries (US and Russa - Trump and Putin)?
  22. Please remove the music from your videos! Great work, but the annoying music isn't adding anything
  23. I see on Ralis chanel that you critize Leo heavily. I am referring to a comment on "An in depth interview I did on Enlightenment, Awakening, the post awakening process." : "Leo's work has influenced me a lot for the better. But I don't resonate with psychedelics, despite having my awakenings while experimenting with them. A thought I've had for a long time before he started the psychedelics thing though, is that I think Leo is unaware of WHY he's seeking enlightenment and it's making his judgment get a bit clouded. I think he still holds the idea that enlightenment would somehow make his life worthy of something. He's still trying to outrun the reaper. I think he's seeking significance but not enlightenment... but he doesn't realize it. So, I think his newfound interest in psychedelics doesn't come from a positive place of open-mindedness like he believes. I think it comes from a negative place of desperation. He's been working SO hard and nothing has been paying off. I suspect that he suffers a lot. I follow his forum and he's been extra defensive lately and calls everyone closed-minded who critiques his interest in psychedelics. I hope that he doesn't get more lost than he is. He's wonderful at being confident in his views which is great for most public figures... but this can be a detriment to the seeker of truth. Either way, it's unfortunate that he's influencing so many people that now believe psychedelics are a path to enlightenment." Why do you asume Leo suffers a lot? Isn't this just conspiracy theories? Just assumptions from your own beliefs, dogmas and limited experiences. Also, how do you know psychedelics is not a path to instant enlightment, or can accelerate the process from your own limited 2 experiences? From outside this looks like very unconscious judgements, maybe out of jealousy or something (assumption)... Sorry for being so harsh, but your arguments doesn't convince me a bit to stop listening to Leos advices on the path. Neither does Ralis. BTW, I think your channel is great.. Ralis too..
