I havent heard about the children before, but i heard how they are mistreating adults. Its crazy to think about that this is happening in the USA. I mean its not news that this stuff happens, but Trump definitely escalated it with ICE. I have been thinking about how ordinary people could influence politics and events in the world and pressure governments etc. The main issue is definitely that the majority of the population is stuck dealing with their own survival day to day. Communication is definitely a key factor in this. I also often wonder about the effectiveness of protesting?

You are misapplying the concept of solipsism. Please just trust me on this. You need more spiritual maturity to handle it, so just go and learn about other aspects of spirituality and forget about solipsism alltogheter. Its not even true, as far as you should be concerned. Im using an authorative tone, because no amount of explaining will do. Start with contemplating about what is a concept versus reality. Eckhart Tolle will help you on this. Also i believe this is the correct link where Leo explains the difference between the map and the territory. But dont confuse semantic understanding something that Leo said in a video with deep comprehension. Other than that you are always welcome here to ask questions and share your thoughts! Godspeed!

A bad childhood or any bad experience is a blessing, as long as you are able to overcome it. I feel like this is a bad answer, but i can elaborate more maybe later. I had an epiphany about this once. I dont remember if it came to me after meditation or while i was on drugs, but i got directly conscious of who i am is just how i choose to act. Im only acting like myself because thats just what i usually do and its the easiest. I remember i tought if starting from tomorrow i acted like Leonardo DiCaprio, then i would be just like Leonardo DiCaprio. I guess i was on drugs.

I think what you perceive that is the actual nature of reality. I disagree with the filtered through the mind argument. I should come back here and expand on this later, but now i need to go to sleep. Edit: Hey, i promised to come back here to explain what i meant earlier, but i decided im not going to do that here, because thats not what this conversation was about. If you are interested, Leo has a video on the topic called Perception is everything. Or similar title, i think its his only video that has Perception in the title so it wont be a problem to find it.
