You are misapplying the concept of solipsism. Please just trust me on this. You need more spiritual maturity to handle it, so just go and learn about other aspects of spirituality and forget about solipsism alltogheter. Its not even true, as far as you should be concerned. Im using an authorative tone, because no amount of explaining will do. Start with contemplating about what is a concept versus reality. Eckhart Tolle will help you on this. Also i believe this is the correct link where Leo explains the difference between the map and the territory. My apologies i read your topic fully, but i came up only with a generalised answer, not specifically for you. A bad childhood or any bad experience is a blessing, as long as you are able to overcome it. I feel like this is a bad answer, but i can elaborate more maybe later. You said you graduated college in 2008, hows it been since then?

I had an epiphany about this once. I dont remember if it came to me after meditation or while i was on drugs, but i got directly conscious of who i am is just how i choose to act. Im only acting like myself because thats just what i usually do and its the easiest. I remember i tought if starting from tomorrow i acted like Leonardo DiCaprio, then i would be just like Leonardo DiCaprio. I guess i was on drugs.

I think what you perceive that is the actual nature of reality. I disagree with the filtered through the mind argument. I should come back here and expand on this later, but now i need to go to sleep. Edit: Hey, i promised to come back here to explain what i meant earlier, but i decided im not going to do that here, because thats not what this conversation was about. As a youngster, i would occasionally hang out with questionable people. This one time i was sitting on a bench smoking a synthetic drug with another dude i barely knew. Another guy i knew from elementary school came by on a bike. They knew each other well. This kid on the bike didnt hang around and as he left, he went through my shoes with his bike. I quickly shrugged it off as an accident. Some time passed, maybe like 6 months later, when me and my crew decided to put some money together to buy weed. And our connection was the kid i was sitting on the bench with. Now, as it happens our money got “lost”. I only put the picture together later on. For these dudes, my lack of reaction when he went over my shoes with his bike, was a clue and a signal that im someone who can be ripped off. That was their version of a shit test. Now this has nothing to do with women, i just wanted to tell this story.
