  1. @Shroomdoctor No short cuts in the real world buddy
  2. @Chrissy j It is possible, but the opportunity for mastery arises when you follow your "Primal Inclinations" as Robert Greene states it. An example for me is natural movement. I love it. When i was 5 i would spend time in the back yard with my gramps who was deep squatting and planting veggies. This allowed me to learn about my body and how it relates to the world in a tactile way much sooner than most people. I have been tapping into this awareness over time and have developed a very intricate bodily awareness. So my question for you is, what were you doing when you were 5? What do you remember doing that woke you up to the world of possibilites? Investigate that question and see where it leads you.
  3. @Elliot Have no fear, @aurum is here.
  4. This is an open challenge to anyone who would like to test their will power, patience, and level of neuroticism. Rule: Every action you do (For 1 whole day) must be done, as if you were a 90 year old man/woman. MEANING, you must walk as slow as you possibly can (deliberately) as well as open doors, close doors, grab objects, move your body, read a book, type, everything! I will be documenting this starting first thing in the morning! The goal is to develop concentration and intention with every passing second. Good luck my friends (Slow, mindful, deliberate, action)
  5. @robdl very good insight to notice! Thank you. Noticing things simply as they are, removing the "observer" as well.
  6. Most internal friction/mind chatter stops the second you freeze into stillness. "Stopping on a Dime" - What Shinzen Young refers to using your awareness to pull you into your sensory field. No matter what you are thinking. Observing a lot of bodily tension, especially in the abdomen. Breathing is not consistent and could be improved. Sensations could be labeled 100x more than what i am currently experiencing (Leos retreat videos help with this)
  7. "There ought to be something very special about the boundary conditions of the universe and what can be more special than that there is no boundary?" Rest in Peace Steven Hawking....
  8. @Colin It's shocking. I had just finished up watching part II of the nonduality series and i have been thinking about physics all day. Then, BOOM... This happens
  9. @Sukhpaal Perhaps do yoga the first 20 minutes before you work out, and then see how it effects your lift.
  10. @Sukhpaal Why are you bulking? You tryna hide something? You tryna fill the void? Haha, im kidding (Not really) Add some sweet potato and perhaps some tea to keep you full in between meals. Hope this helps.
  11. @electroBeam You can feel the energy going up and down the spine. It is definitely more than just a visualization. One technique that may help you is cobra pose. How healthy is your spine in general currently? Also, where do you usually place your attention when looking inwards?
  12. Autosuggestion is the hypnotic or subconscious adoption of an idea that one has originated oneself, e.g. through repetition of verbal statements to oneself in order to change behavior. All day long, in between activities or during down time, I have been implementing this, whether spoken gently or in my head. "I got this" "I am so healthy" "I feel great in my body" "This is beautiful" "I can do this" "I am focused" etc etc. The most important ones for me happen in the shower, try it out! These effect your subconscious heavily! Do not underestimate them.
  13. @Stoica Doru Do both. Take responsibility even if you dont think its worth it right now, see what happens. Be aware at the most important times, which is when the selfish tendencies want to arise or you begin to go unconscious. Backlashes will happen regardless. Your job is to surrender and watch them, without getting pulled in. That is where the awareness is important.
  14. Can we make this a place where we can drop healthy and yummy food recipes, please?
  15. @Leo Gura so you're bald because some comments make you want to rip your hair out?
  16. @egoeimai "Justin" is already the greatest actor of all time.
  17. @Charlotte @Shin Look closely.
  18. Who has been dealing with these? Very vivid, weird, some other planet-like dreams where you couldn't be any more confused as to what/why things are happening. @JustinS mentioned that "it is the mind purging years of previous lifetimes...", while i would like to add that it feels like all of the mind's "i"s are being obliterated. What has been your experience?
  19. @aurum Wow this resonates quite a bit with how i felt last night. Could not fall asleep till early morning, as I lay in bed processing what i just witnessed. @JustinS *hands praying emoji*
  20. Okay so I want this thread to be a place where we can talk about the hardest workers of the past (or Present) with some stories you can share if you know any personally! (Stories of Yogi's, Athletes, Warriors, basically anyone whose work ethic comes from a survival paradigm) 1. I have heard of reports that The Rock wakes up at 3:45am each morning, fights all of his demons in the gym before 6AM, and then starts his day. 2. Another example could be Bhudda's determination to enter Nirvana (Specific examples/ stories anyone??) 3. Athletes who would train for hours on end before their real practice would begin (10,000 rule/mastery) Who's got some in depth examples that can inspires some viewers on the Forum?
