  1. @Nahm I have changed after watching a lot of Leo's videos. His ways of thinking have had an impact on me. Now I think everything is very mystical and even science cannot grasp it.
  2. @Nahm I consider death as a peaceful way of entering the after-life. I don't take it as something negative. I feel it's a part of a journey that will go on.
  3. @Nahm Your existence has everything to do with reality. True. infinity does exist and is purely magical.
  4. @Nana_Kh do a weekly planner that might help. Check what u did and didn't do and keep a record.
  5. Don't think too much. You should pursue your passions. That's what life is for
  6. @Hunter Arrington you did not include two - keeping toxic people away. And second - understanding yourself better. Just thought to suggest. Anyway that's a good list you got.
  7. Walking during early morning hours and getting a good dose of sunshine is necessary for production of Vitamin D. Plus nature comes for free yet we take it so much for granted. Nature is like a mother, always caring and nourishing. This is such a beautiful post. Thanks for sharing. Reminds us of the importance of mother nature in healing.
  8. I have just begun the journey. I pledged to give up junk food. Let me see if I stick to my plan.
  9. Oh gawd, somehow this scared the shit out of me
  10. I have not jumped to any conclusion. If there are many people who have reported things that they have witnessed and recorded them in their books, then they are not all liars looking to defame a so called holy man. There is just too much about Osho that cannot be discredited. By the way, you might want to read what Christopher Hitchens had to say about Osho in 'God is not Great'. I am not an atheist myself but it is worth reading. if it were not for the great and alert American Law Enforcement, the great land of Rajneeshpuram would have become a witness to another Jim Jones style debacle !!
  11. Why even drag Jesus Christ into this. How a person can compare Jesus to someone like Osho is beyond me. Jesus never touched Mary Magdalene. He made a saint out of a prostitute showing to people that even a prostitute is a human and capable of receiving grace and mercy just like others. He did not want prostitutes to be demonized by the public. The example is misplaced and completely out of context.
  12. Well the great Osho could have very well given the same reply when asked about touching young naive women's breasts....to feel their Chakras!! yoooohoooo
  13. I don't know why people consider Osho and Sadhguru as "Enlightened". That's like putting them on a pedestal, at least in my opinion. They are like teachers and gurus who say wise things, but that's it. I agree with what @jse says here. It's all about mojo. They got that x factor. You must have observed how they make people laugh by telling jokes. They never appear serious. They maintain a calm countenance and talk very slowly and pause a lot between words. They never show expressions of tension or fear. If a person asks them a tough question, they usually take it and turn it into something that everybody can laugh about. Osho was very flashy. He said a lot of wise things but at the same time he was very controversial with his cult like following. Some people resented that. Certain tantric things he taught on his ranch were heavily criticized by visitors and the media. Also people would carry weapons on his ranch, Goes to show, even enlightened people are not free from human failings, These people have a special skill to captivate people that others like Peter Russell do not possess. Perhaps they don't like to project themselves that way. You must have heard of Jon Kabat Zinn. People like him are simple, they don't claim to be great or experts on every area of life. They are like your college professors, just regular folks who do more research, gather information and just give it to the masses. They don't need to wear special costumes or act in certain ways. Probably that is the reason why they don't attract a lot of attention. Also the people you mentioned as mystics come from eastern traditions which a lot of people take as something exotic and ethereal. If the same thing was said by a western person, there would be nothing exotic about it, And I guess the last factor is - they don't blink their eyes very often !!! kinda makes someone look hypnotic and special.
  14. I found this one inspiring but I did not cry Ok this one I cried.
  15. Some people just think in Newtonian reductionist ways. They put everything else into the box of obscurantism. They cannot believe that something can exist beyond their realm of thinking. I hope they understand that people have their own ways of dealing with things. Science should not have to take the blame for their shortcomings.
  16. That was good. They live so peacefully. Their songs are nice. I like their concepts of spirituality, shamanism. Their culture focuses more on spiritual healing.
  17. @aurum Thank you so much for the information. Your blog is great. Thumbs up. I am horribly slow at reading but anyway I will check out all the books you mentioned and post my feedback to you.
  18. @aurum I am looking for books on productivity, time management, task management, how to get more work done in less time, maximum productivity hacks, skills, tricks and principles. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for replying to my post. What's the link to the blog.

  20. @eskwire. Why oh why. Why is it this way. Sometimes I just want to say a lot of things and I cannot for the fear of being dismissed or labelled aggressive. I can relate so much to whatever you said. Sigh
