  1. You know it's epic in a bad way when comedians joke about it. That should be the hint. ....
  2. @Danka Maybe it has got to do something with human nature. But I hate to break it yet this is my realization after hours and hours of thinking over the past week :: Human Nature is bullsheet. Absolute rubbish. Human psychology is derived from human nature. Although studying psychology is interesting, the ultimate conclusion is that it's bullshit because it's based on faulty conditioned paradigms that are not rooted in love but in greed and passivity. So what we think is really immaterial because it does not have a true basis. If the looking glass is faulty or blurred or damaged the image also looks distorted. That pretty much sums it up. Human minds are deeply distorted. And the unlearning will take years. So the need for art is also because it appeals to our senses. Whatever makes us feel nice, we just do it, regardless of whether it's right or wrong or good or bad. By the way, there's also another way of looking at this same thing. That is you don't believe something is good, because it's not yielding the results you want. Meaning - you say most people who do art would end up living paycheck to paycheck. So probably that's the reason they shouldn't do it. But in the same thought, you are not realizing that you don't want it, not because it's bad but because it doesn't give you the money you want. So your opinion on art would have been completely different if everyone made a lot of money from selling art. Which means a lot of what we think is very much context dependent. Conditioning the human mind is very difficult. Because our psychology has been deeply damaged at the root from the very beginning. And that conditioning has proceeded through evolution. But what you realize in the end is that human mind is shitty. And all our conditioned paradigms are leading to neurosis and imbalance. The attachment to art is also born out of such paradigms. The only one way to get rid of these paradigms is to embrace the beauty of things, to embrace the beauty of everything. We should embrace the universal beauty that makes up everything the universe is made of. The moment you think that something is dispensable or unworthy you lose it. When you embrace the value or the beauty of it, that's where all paradigms are broken and you see the goodness in the universal nature of things. That's where all discrimination and conditioning ends and acceptance begins. With acceptance and freedom and embracing there is growth and ultimate fulfillment of all desires and this will lead to you receiving the benefit or goodness of everything.
  3. I'm planning to go on a solo retreat probably the end of this month or maybe the next month. What advice do you have for me. All suggestions welcome.
  4. @Joseph Maynor Do you really need protein powder ?
  5. @Leo Gura if you ever decide to make an Aapp please make sure to make it movable to SD card a.k.a External Storage. I already got too many aapps on ma mobile !!!
  6. @Leo Gura What if the browser gets issues. App never fails in loading. Plus there are server issues in browser too. You're IT guy. I don't know so much about tech though.
  7. @Joseph Maynor So far good. Been using this technique. I already feel relaxed. Because I can just put everything in one binder and not have to worry about anything being left out. I'd continue using this method and post my feedback again some days later. @Greatnestwithin You could try this as well.
  8. Chakras Healing is an excellent way of tuning your body and getting rid of different energy blocks caused by toxins. Energy healing technique. I have read reviews that it really works. I tried Reiki and it was fabulous. Next I want to try Chakras Exercises and see what benefits I get.
  9. @Max_V It's ok. Girls will like you anyway if you like them. Girls are sensitive and they have a greater need for love and attachment than guys. To be honest, guys like you are rare, who are searching for love. Most guys look for getting laid and they just want to feel good for the moment and pat themselves for getting a catch. Guys generally don't feel so alone because they have many guy friends to fill up their time. A girl is just another accessory. They might look non needy and detached but eventually the girl gets fed up if he isn't paying attention. So some neediness is needed.Gotta make her feel belonged. How much love you receive from her depends on how much you can give her. Give her what she needs and she will be with you.
  10. Heal yourself Meditate Laugh Love Pray Relax Detach And lastly Don't search for the absolute perfect solution. Even that is a part of your OCD
  11. This is really not a neurotic need. It's natural to want to feel loved and belonged. The only difficulty is the attachment. When you get too attached to someone, it can even become an addiction. Go and find a girl for yourself. Make friends. Get connected.
  12. @caelanb Can you be a little bit clear. I didn't get this. What do you exactly wanna do ?
  13. @Peace and Love That's great. I will try both Karuna and Usui Reiki..Congratulations on completing the Masters course.
  14. You said experiential. But you forgot one word - existential. Spirituality is fun. Spirituality is the basis of everything. But everything is not spirituality. It's one thing to be spiritual, it's another thing to be a spiritual junkie. It's one thing to run on the treadmill, it's another thing to be a marathon runner.
  15. Somehow you took the words right out of my mouth. Maybe a lot many don't agree and it doesn't sit right with a lot of people out there because it's so conflicting with their inner desire for utopia, it's just gets harder to accept. But when you do some inner work, you probably realize through self honesty that you had a big mountain to climb. It's just that you missed the mountain all along and now when you see it, it's so difficult to accept it. It clashes with the truth of truths. Ultimately what clashes with your mind is the unbearable truth the Ego of egos never wanted to accept. With that statement you managed to break the illusion of illusions.
  16. My motivations are :: # Connecting to the universal consciousness # Finding meaning to a mundane existence. # Solution to suffering # Self transcendence # Spreading and receiving love # Manifestation of God in my life. # Search for truth # I am inherently spiritually inclined # Application of spirituality in life and in the world. 21st century needs it the most. # Finding peace in a stressful life.
  17. @sleeperstakes Do meditation Increase self awareness Practice existential contemplation Practice self honesty Self inquiry Start self actualization step wise. Set concrete goals Follow in baby steps
  18. @Joseph Maynor yea...a lot of people make the mistake of starting right from the top. First you need to get your lower in order and then work your way to the top. @Joseph Maynor but paparadoxically it's also important to work on your top chakras because how you feel spiritually and mentally is also affecting and directing your primal physical functions. So it's like if you work only on the lower ones, that's akin to driving a car without a navigator. So if you want the upper spiritual chakras to influence the lower ones in the right direction then it makes sense to start with the upper ones. It's like if you're in the right state of mind spiritually and mentally you'd also balance out the lower chakras in accordance to your spiritual and mental shifts. So yeah, it's a dance here. Work on both simultaneously. A Little bit on the upper and sometimes on the lower. Balance both like juggling.
  19. Does anyone have extensive but useful info on chakra exercises. I have been searching on the internet but mostly vague guided meditations stuff. I'm looking for real exercises not a bunch of feel good words from sooth sayers. Practice exercises for each chakra. Can include meditations. But other stuff would be more helpful. Like self transcendence exercises.
  20. @Prabhaker Thanks Prabby. If you got more exercises than these please do post in future here.
  21. You managed to lose weight in a very short span of time. Are you very strict and disciplined in your daily schedules ? What specific regimen do you follow ? Another question Which productivity apps do you use on your phone. How do you plan and manage your daily tasks. Any tricks/ hacks you use ?
  22. I clicked on the link and nothing. Why ??? https://www.actualized.org/blueprint
  23. @Ilya Practice more and more self inquiry. It works like magic. First try, then say. There's no point if you're going to be negative about it. Enlightenment is a different ball game altogether.
