  1. Yo...I have the same situation where I need money to fuel it into my life purpose by buying books, going on retreats and so on... I was thinking that I could be a "handy-man" at someone's home, a nursing home or a small school A handy man is responsible for cleaning the lawn, feeding the dogs and bathing them, pruning the trees and so on This job only requires a few hours of work each day and you dont need any experience
  2. Gandhi was a Political Saint...he was quite noble to me
  3. This was my first spiritual book...I just found it laying around and no one knew whose book it was...lol I read it and the entire book was about surrender to what is...its like an ancient form of Eckhart Tolle's teachings I highly recommend giving it a read
  4. Yes...I've been doing hatha yoga at the same time each day and my body has become programmed to practice it first thing when I wake up... I would recommend that you choose one class per week...lets say the 9am class and for the remaining 6 days you practice at home at the same time. This way you are building a routine to practice at the same time while still going to class. No need to go to class two or three times per week...most of the work should be done at home anyways
  5. Thank you Source Mystic, your words here are very touching

  8. I need to learn how to sleep properly...having high quality sleep at nights is super important if we want to be alert during meditatiin, yoga and so on... I can just intuit that the following things will all play a role in having quality sleep: ▪ sleeping position ▪The Matress ( if any) ▪The food your eating ▪ Stillness of your mind ▪maybe doing a nightime routine? ▪anything else ?? Share your insights please !
  9. Nice...the same was said of Paramahansa Yogananda's body; even a month after his death his body still remained fairly fresh and odourless...this stuff is real bro
  10. What purpose does the hair on our head serve, if any ? Some spiritual teachers never cut their hair while others are bald...whats up with that ? Ps. @Leo Gura why are you bald? Just asking...

  13. For real Leo...thanks a lot... I was a dedicated Jehova's witness before I stumbled upon your videos.
  14. I had the same questions when I wanted to start...my approach was just to start by going to a yoga center each week and learn as you practice. I treat it the same as meditation: just start practicing and do the techniques that feel right for you.
  15. Sit with your spine erect Meditate at the time of the day when you are the most alive Eat a whole-foods plant based diet Practice yoga daily test this out for a week and tell us what happened
  16. Maybe your authentic self is trying tell you to make some bold life changes and your going through this crisis because your in resistance to what you truly want. I have had to make these bold life changes since I started a year ago, and each time I suffered because I delayed in taking action. Quiting my religion and facing the criticism of the church elders Dropping out of college to pursue my life purpose. My entire family thought I was going mad. Quitting my business because it was no longer in service of my higher purpose. Nb. After doing each of the above, I felt more authentic and more at peace. So consider what your authentic self is trying to tell you and listen to it!

  19. Ok here are some ways that my life has changed since I started doing this work one(1) year ago. now have a good sense of direction in life. I can see that raising my consciousness is the most important thing I can do in life. life purpose discovered. stopped wasting hours of my life each week at church listening to preachings about heaven and hell Dropping out of college to become an autodidact ( less deadlines and no tests == more freedom) Becoming more conscious of the monkey chatter in the mind through meditation each day Better understanding of the dysfunctions in society Daily yoga practice Increased discipline Better able to surrender to what is. Now I live a much simpler life and there is more peace. Also...and very important...I can see all my neurosis, addictions and attachments.
