@Ryan_047 who decides these things?

@Joseph Maynor Therefore duality is not part of non-duality — they sit at cross-purposes actually. What do you mean.....”They”? ?? ❤️? ?? ?⛈ ?? ?? -

Why the dreaming.....best question....follow the white rabbit...that why it is the pure nondual, the ‘knowing’.?❤️ All the ideas, all the words, all the knowledge, and all the psychedelics in the world will not reveal this - without the proper foundation. -

@Shiva DITTO...It’s Martin though, so everything’s cool. -

@snowleopard I think I understand what you’re saying, maybe not. nonduality is perception without paradox. Often, ime, the big picture duality is the last paradox before nonduality. Not as a rule or anything. Just seems that way. As in, without something to do, there could be no doer - and without a doer, there could be nothing to do (duality). Without the duality, it is seen that there is no actual doer, and there is actually nothing to do. Yet, here we are, in a loop of creator and creating, as the One. -
@egoless solid plan components❣️ Visualization is a part of loa, imo, but loa is sooo much bigger. It’s like the path to enlightenment though, no one needs to walk it, in actuality there is no path, but only a fool doesn’t walk it. The perspective expands, the same world is experienced - and everything changes in experience, though nothing changes at the same time. I’m getting jelly now. You have so much fun & love ahead of you. ??❤️

@egoless if we’re loosely defining enlightenment as permanent nonduality - experiencing life, without a central ‘you’ - body / brain identity, only the practices will do, short of a one in a million Tolle happening. (IMO) The practices free us of “me me me” perspective. Loa takes you from there and can reveal you are, indeed, the One. It also helps with the next question that arises....if I’m the one, what about all these other ‘people’? ?❤️ -
@egoless nice! I digested all the loa I could find many years ago, until it was a default understanding. What surfaced as the best, IMO, is Napoleon Hills ‘How to Think & Grow Rich’, and (YouTube) Abraham Hicks. A lot of Ester’s material comes from Napoleon, or maybe a lot of Napoleon comes from Abraham. Hard to say. ? https://www.amazon.com/Think-Grow-Rich-Napoleon-Hill/dp/B0082PRTIQ/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_img_2/130-6155358-5922667?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=12ZATM539S42F72W0X8R

@Alien Dan’s got it, imo. The pain “makes me a believer”. Pain is the most convincing facet of the illusion. Careful not to identify with the body or the ego, and the experience of pain changes. When you see more of the illusion for what it is, you become more of what you really are. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IhP3J0j9JmY

Loa seems to enter our perceptions as a gimmic, then a confidence booster, then a visionary tool addressing reality (illusion). What makes it so tricky, imo, is that we stumble upon it in little videos, etc - it would be more appropriate for it to be a series of courses. It takes years, and a lot of life experience and exposure to grasp.

@AdamDiC meditation & contemplation, healthy eating, and exercise are the foundation - the ticket just to get in. Take you’re time. If you keep the practices going, you’ll start seeing more and more in your normal day to day life. Careful not to identify (as little as possible) with your body & brain. That is not what you are. Thought patterns holding body & brain behind “me” and “I”, cause suffering. Nothing is actually happening ‘to you’ as in, the body & brain. That is not you. Nothing could ever happen to what you really are. You can’t be tarnished, discouraged, or lacking in anything. Everything is happening perfectly as it should be. Look for that perspective. Also - a meditation teacher is a great thing to have, and you’ve got Leo here, of course - miraculously always accessible. Make sure you have at least a few more (online / YouTube / etc) so you’re developing your own frame of reference. Helps with sorting out what benefits you, what works for you, etc.

@kieranperez Not sure if this is brutal but I hopes it’s constructive. Sounds like you are a diamond in a rough environment. You’re ‘getting out’ by raising your consciousness already. Just by being here, and being so open and honest in your communicating about it. Get the best job you can. Do your absolute best at that job. Know that the better you do, the more opportunities will come out of nowhere for you. I worked smart & hard in retail jobs that I didn’t love, but found ways to love, and thus improved my self. A guy quit at a store I worked at, and 2 years later he called me up asking if I would be interested in a new industry / position. Lead to the best career breakthrough I’ve had. Abe HIcks / LOA could be very helpful to you right now, IMO. It’s Uber positive, and helps you to grow a vision of how your efforts, in term of positive thinking and positive attitude, will unlock doors you didn’t even know about. A suggestion on an exercise....take a minute to write down everything good you’ve done, anything you have accomplished so far, things you’ve learned. That could help you to see you have overcome a lot already. You’ve made something of yourself already, and you’re continuing to look for growth. Most people would just sleep through life and be like those around them. You gotta feel good about waking up. Good for you man! Here’s something that might get your perspective changing.... http://www.financetwitter.com/2014/07/fifteen-successful-rich-and-famous-people-their-humble-first-jobs.html https://www.buzzfeed.com/elliewoodward/celebrities-who-had-unbelievable-jobs-before-they-were-fa?utm_term=.leQA54eJ0#.syWEZ3N1Q Obama’s first job, was serving ice cream, and he did alright. ? Oprah worked at a grocery store. After a paper route, my first job was receiving dirty stinky bottle returns at a bulk beverage store. I loved it! I set up the bins and flipped that shit over my shoulders like I was Tom Cruise in cocktail. Perspective is everything! “So good they can’t ignore you”! Find your life purpose and start employment, or start employment to get self supportive, then find your life purpose. Neither is right or wrong, and you don’t strike me as someone who will get ‘lost’ in the work world for the duration. I mean, you’re here- asking & seeking. That’s a big deal.

@bobbyward when unwanted thoughts come, start building the habit of ‘flipping the coin’...state the exact opposite, it’s simple and subtly powerful. Both perspectives are equally true. -

@Martin123 I went through this. I was concerned for a bit about it. It ended up resolving all on it’s own, and I came out of it with more focus & concentration, along with more comprehension and clarity. I think “integration” is the key word. I’ve certainly noticed you had some HUGE ‘raises in consciousness’ or whatever we should be calling it today. ? It’s a proccess that happens all on it’s own. Of course, continuing daily meditation is always good. One shot in the dark....you might not be noticing just how far you’ve expanded in the last few months. Have you been with old friends, or family much? If not, that’ll really make you notice, and it’s reassuring. Diet & excercise - can’t go wrong. I very much relate to what Leo said a little while back, that he has been fining tuning his diet for years. I’m like 5 years into that myself. When you raise your consciousness, the body tends to be increasingly sensitive to diet. If your body feels rushy, it could be sugar. Lethargic, could be carbs. Lack of clarity could be from preservatives. Anxious, could be from caffeine. IT IS NOT PERMANENT. ? Think about how millions of cells are dividing and being discarded every day. There’s nothing permanent going on here. -
@Faceless “Problems understanding Brains do not exist video” this post. ☺️
-
That video can’t really be ‘understood’ so to speak. It requires transcendence of thinking.
-
@AdamDiC what do you want?
-
@Jedd keep meditating every morning, ground in the now. Sounds to me like your practices are integrating. All is well ?

@BobbyLowell i agree deeply with @Shin i also think it’s all relative. Doesn’t seem like you’re asking existentially where love comes from, but rather is everyone capable and worthy of love. Yes. Of course. You are worthy of love, and you are capable of loving yourself. You are also capable of loving everything & everyone. There is so much Joy in discovering this. The only catch is, you have to do it. Baby steps❣️
