  1. @snowleopard LOL. It’s of course, the cheap fake laminate.
  2. @MarkusSweden For sure. It’s good to hear what others experience, it serves to inspire our own self inquiry. A fun loop.
  3. I agree with that. It serves to open the mind, and inspire, but then must be put down, or it’s a crutch of clinging. It can become a filter for truth which of course isn’t truth. Sometimes though, it’s hard to know it was the pointing inner, if you haven’t yet seen the moon. (Not you, just generally speaking)
  4. @Joseph Maynor I think the rabbit hole is the way through one’s own misperceptions, from Alice in Wonderland, exemplified through eating disorders / cause & effect, false perception of self, etc. What is the simple perception? The one without misperceptions? What is the misunderstanding, in your experience (realizations)?
  5. @Dodo +1. Lol. I love how the truth has always been there like that. Even pop stars express it, but it’s so often missed. I think that’s because we put ancient mystics on pedestals.
  6. @Jonson You can experience the one being that we are, simultaneously revealing everything else is it’s illusion. In relativity, the illusion, there is infinite intelligence to experience. “Know thy self”. Probably the most substantial pointer.
  7. @Truth Addict Have you realized / experienced truth?
  8. @Shin yes...and now I will take a moment to myself. At least I didn’t say meditation. Remember that phase, little while back? People would just slap the word Meditation on threads.
  9. @Lynnel This might seem to good to be true, but I think awareness alone would help you out a lot. You’re already doing the hard part, looking at it and seeking help. I remember feeling as you describe, and it felt like I was on speed all the time. My mind was thinking about my past screw up and my potential future screw ups. Try just sitting quietly alone every morning for like 15 minutes. Keep returning your focus to breathing from your stomach. There’s a large list of things happening with the body and brain that are all curative, simply from doing that each morning. You just sort of don’t work on it, just let the self curing mechanism do it’s thing. Give it a few days, and you’ll really notice how things slow down and you feel more calm and peaceful. It might be hard to just sit in the morning. Thoughts about how much you have to get done, etc, arise. But I assure you, if you just sit through it and focus on stomach breathing, it’ll change all this for the better.
  10. There is Truth. So all beliefs are false. Tricky though, cause if you are it, you could never be addicted to it.
  11. @OnceMore Just a left field question, but is your brother into any instructors, motivational speakers, law of attraction teachers, etc? Also, how did this job fall into his lap? Did he apply for it? DId he know someone on the ‘inside’? DId he network his way in?
  12. @OnceMore You can love him and want the best for him. This is really about you. It’s not like there’s one of everything in the world and so only one of you get’s It. You can’t be free of it and hold negative feeling perspectives about it. One or the other. If your focus is on resenting him, it could have been on bettering your own situation.
  13. @OnceMore Gotta shift your attention off anyone else and on to what you want to do. You’ll regret it later if you keep thinking so negatively about him. The situation you’re in sounds pretty terrible. You thought your way there though, you can think your way out, and onto what you can do for yourself. Good luck❤️
  14. @bananak That popcorn lung story, applicable to vaping, was proven to be false, that’s how it was given the name, ironically. People got that from breathing concentrated diacetyl manufacturing artificial butter flavoring for popcorn.
  15. @Shin Ya spend a little too much time in the deep end, you get some seaweed on your legs, and it’s harder to float back up. You do though, Shin, you do float back up. Not tellin you anything you don’t know. Just “be’in there”. All is well. Also, once you’re all floated up, lol, you’re big ‘ol heart is gonna dive right back in to pull someone else out. This is good. You deserve to feel better than you have been. The world’s a better place with you here brutha.
  16. @Shanmugam Again, I just want to say it was a very enjoyable well written book. Great job dude seriously. The pieces you chose to include and the order you presented them were a smooth build for me as the reader. I think you found a great mix of when to add your personal history and insight, and when to resource from thee ancients. Just well done man. I’ll be very easily recommending your book to some folks I know. Looking forward to your next one!
  17. @Shanmugam All done. It was great, really great. I’m going to meditate, and contemplate on it, and I’ll be back. I do have a question for you.... Do you create your own reality?
  18. @Shanmugam a few pages left! Do you want to hear my honest experience of reading it?
  19. @Shanmugam Started your book last night. Almost done. It’s very good so far. Very logical order, great communication.
