@Charlotte That is the sweetest experience isn’t it? I love it!

I eat plenty of fruit, mostly bananas, strawberries, blueberries, avocados, and coconut. I only noticed inflammation when I eat too many grapes, too late at night. Scientifically speaking, I don’t know. I think there are a handful of different types of sugars, and you’d have to eat a ton of fruit to equal the amount of sugar in a soft drink, but this is based on feeling what inflames & what doesn’t, not research. Every body is a little different too.

@Shroomdoctor Sweet! @Charlotte Curious...did you try this? It’s basically what worked for me as well.

Do whatever you want with the land, the animals, etc He said, just don’t eat from the tree of knowledge of good & evil. What do you make of that ol school wisdom? Why would it be in the first chapter, right outta the gate? -

What about one of the more common situations (given what I presume to be the average age of forum members), like, should I or should I not secure a source of income to move out, and support myself? -
@Joseph Maynor You are Truth.

I agree. We can’t know what they’re really doing “in there”, or to what extend anyone is being dishonest about their practices. Spiritual ego, etc. -

This brings to mind what might be a big difference in perspective. I was meditating for around 20 years before the permanent change / oneness. I had never heard of it (enlightenment), never heard the word “nonduality” prior. I found this forum from googling the experience, trying to see if other people experienced it. Now it seems people are reading about this stuff on the forum and other places and more ‘working towards it’, than simply meditating for the daily benefits. So the mindset is very differenct than mine was, in the sense I actually didnt have an idea meditation was accumulative, and headed to anything “bigger”. There’s pro’s and con’s either way I guess, but it is a weird difference. After the oneness breakthrough, and then learning a lot from other people on the forum, I tried psychedelics. Having experienced what I have at this point, I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t just take psychedelics and do the daily practices, while focusing on living the best life they can. I’m not sure though, even if someone heard plenty about nonduality - when it is realized, or “happens” to you - it’s still probably like you never even heard of it. -

@How to be wise What a breakthrough! Love ya bud! -
@Serotoninluv It means you’ll believe them when they tell you they are not interested. ? “No-bird” is ample for a bird.

I haven’t come accross that or heard that from anyone. To give an answer though, look at this (it may initially seem semantical)..... And consider what’s said is actually this... I agree meditation can put me in myself, where I’m detached from thoughts, I can bring my self into my everyday experience, so there is no question. -
@Serotoninluv You will never be able to convey nonduality to someone. (I trust you’re laughing)

@How to be wise Yes. Of course. Meditation (the space realized / thought detachment) drops conditioned perspectives which are adhered to / repeated, and opens the mind to new perspectives. Then the falsities begin to disintegrate in Truth. However, at the core of dream is of course uncertainty, that is the gift. One is free to meditate in the morning, clearing the conditioning, and resume it with low quality thoughts throughout the day, essentially undoing the work that was done. Who would want to do this. -
@Amun Experience a month or two without meat, sugar, bread, etc - the usual suspects. What does it matter what anyone else’s experience is?

Quality...Drop any serious perspective and see the fun in playing the inner game....of choosing a better feeling, yet true for you, thought. With enough practice, your perspective & the actually-too-good-to-believe truth become closer in vibrational proximity. Then you experience “tapping into it”, “connection”, “unification” “higher self” (whatever term you like) thoughts - and thus you have insights, epiphanies, revelations, and “enlightenment”. (Using quotes as it was you all along....full circle). In playing the ‘better thought’ game, you will naturally witness the weeding out of judgment, envy, greed, etc, etc...while simultaneously becoming more aware of the resonance between thought quality and emotional well being. Quantity...Overthinking imo is the result of the finite mind identified as a separate self, auto-attempting to resolve this falsity every which way but directly. It’s perpetuated of course by the ignorance (ignor-ance / ignoring) that the finite mind is not an identity, and the finite mind perceiving in a manor which justify’s “it’s identity”. For the deeper neurological pathways, such as past trauma’s, there seems to be two paths: Genuinly stop repeating the thought/memory and sooner or later it simply just isn’t a part of the now anymore - or go into & through it by “doing the work” which results in an entirely different (and happier) perspective. Either way, the end result is no longer identifying with the thoughts. Stomach breathing awareness meditation creates space between thoughts, making all of the above strategies much easier. Also...food is mood, and health is wealth. -

@bejapuskas What you’re doing is ‘working’, and the ego says let’s do something else then. -

Asked the universe for Rilles to make a thread about synchronicity.
