  1. @kieranperez I’d do what you want to do. If it happens to be that, great. If not, great. Someone will always admire you. Someone will always resent you. Do what you really want.
  2. You are doing exactly that. It’s relative. ?? @Inliytened1 Absolutely. ?? ...and just to shake the haters out of the bushes once more...Ester Hicks. ?
  3. @arlin You’re giving a gift to yourself. Keep your focus on breathing from your stomach. When you notice the ‘song in your head’, return your attention to your stomach breathing. The Gift, is the realization of the power of your focus. It’s creating your life.
  4. It’s possible that the notion “enlightenment will solve my problems” is the ‘blockage’ at play when you reach the point of transcendence on the psychedelic. It will certainly change perspective in entirety, which imo is very helpful and beneficial. But it won’t “fix problems”. So maybe the resistance is actually knowing you’ll still be tasked with “fixing things”. If so, go directly to these “things that need to be fixed”. If it’s your choices, habits, etc, then go directly to the sensations when they arise, and do not get sucked into thought stories about the sensations. If it’s choices about life, life direction, etc, then go straight to that too. Write whatever it is on a piece of paper, stay with the arising sensations. After any overwhelming sensations pass, the Understanding will arise. The clarity will shine through having accepted & embraced the sensation. Also, you are the same you which never dies, right now as you’re reading this. It is the conceptual you, the idea of you, your self image, etc - which “dies”. Using the word death for this is both exactly accurate, and also very misleading. This is because you are currently working with your idea of you, and your idea of death. Death turns out to be a falsity, a collective belief. Simultaneously, it is revealed that there is no physical, and so no physical you. Did a “you” actually “die” - no. Your idea of you, which you (as a person) created, “dies”. It never actually was a “thing”, just a cluster of thoughts and ideas, just an image. You (God) created a you (person), which created a separate self (conceptual) you. But, in actuality, you have just been the One Infinite You this whole “time”. ...meanwhile...you’re perfect. The notion you need any “fixing” is just a thought.
  5. Take it easy on yourself. How do you suppose we experience & learn? Just like this. You just got attached, forgot your own awesomeness, and your own experience. It’s not easy to learn. It’s “sage school” if you will. It works perfectly. You’ll be Happy with anyone, or no one, cause you are you.
  6. @SoonHei You can conceptualized about mystical experiences, but it’s reinforcing the “you”. Consider being more acute with what you label a mystical experience. I’d also offer that a mystical experience is not actual, but a revelation there is only mystical experience. Which of course makes reality undefinable, specifically as a “mystical experience”, because, it’s “normal”, or rather, what is. The actual mind bending experience is “physical reality”.
  7. @DrewNows It’s a ways out but ya, absolutely. Kids wanting help with any remaining dualities or suppressed misunderstandings will be sent to the oracle’s office.
  8. @SQAAD Your habit of judging yourself resonated. Didn’t feel good because the identity you’re believing in is not accurate. You’re much more awesome than you believe. You’re awesomeness tells you this, but you’ve learned to trust your thinking, not your sensations. Orange guy transcended this, and that is why “he triggers you”.
  9. @kuma What is your emotional understanding of why that does not feel good?
  10. @DrewNows Honestly that sounds delightful. Kids: You mean we won’t see our parents again for 12 years!? Me: I’m telling you that when you’re ready, you won’t need to see them.
  11. @ColdFacts I got what you’re against, I was just wondering if you had suggestions based on what ‘works’ for you, things you’re trying, etc. Thanks.
  12. @ColdFacts What would your suggested path look like?
  13. @Shaun This is not self inquiry. When the thoughts arise, let them go and return to the self inquiry. ?? Don’t hate the Game btw. It’s the overthinking and specifically the concept of solipsism that you want to be without. Meditation is the way.
  14. @seeking_brilliance I would aim to socraticly help my kid understand what’s going on. I’d ask him how he feels about it, and why he thinks it makes him feel that way. I’d ask him how he thinks the other kid feels, hoping he realizes the behavior comes from how that kid feels about himself, and gains some understanding about the home environment. Then I’d probably ask him what he thinks is the best way to handle it for both kids. This would depend on the severity of coarse, just top of mind for the 6 to 10-year-old range. I’d also probably call or email the teacher and make sure she’s aware of what’s going on.
  15. @seeking_brilliance what’s the hypothetical age?
  16. @seeking_brilliance I hear ya. That’s relatively true, but relative still. My comment was for you (not lots of parents). Honestly I never considered “unconditional love”, never pondered it. The second I saw my son, it was more than obvious. The bond is Love, prior to uncondition. Cosmic Love, Nonduality, entirely different, and exactly the same. From this basis, all things are possible.
