@Victor Mgazi Is that there is something to get an assumption, or have you direct experience of this something to get? -
@kindayellow What is your dream for this life, of which the infinitude of feeling & relativity of thought are realized to be the creative experiential traction of? Are you making proper use of that which you are calling ‘dis-traction’?
-
Perhaps an awakening to the futility of focusing on any force-struggles between self & other, and a calling back to the deepening of focus on one’s own creation of one’s desired life. Judgement of self & other is sneaky and takes every thought avenue one allows until it is fully realized it was never needed to begin with. A full circle back to where you were / are. Regaining focus on one’s own creation, one’s own life, is not force, but true power derived of the less conditional alignment with all of creation. It is already unfolding in relation to the letting go of focus on aspects of rivalry & unnecessary comparisons. The presence of a knowingly Self empowered creator is such that these thoughts are forgotten and realized to have never been needed. “Turn the other cheek” is only apparently “needed” to make such a turn with ‘where’ one puts one’s attention. A problem is solved until it is realized a problem never needed attention, and could be said to be “the problem”. Honestly in desire is in and of itself the catalyst of the healing of the very same source. Focusing on what one uniquely wants intrinsically let’s the patterns of old, the identification with past, go - as what is drawn upon, what is materialized and much more deeply known, is the total awesomeness, of you. It’s redundant, but.. have you tried a dreamboard?
-
Time & one’s own sense and experience of creator-ship & desire are inseparable in terms of joy & flow. Sometimes boredom and un-enthusiasm are a newly found space from past, future & self oriented patterns of thought settling. It can be experienced as a place of well being and rejuvenation. In willingness to be aware of any such remaining patterns, and allowing them to play out, releasing them, this ‘space’ is filled with passion and desire. What was seen as killing time literally becomes the opportunity for the thrill of a lifetime. What is also seen, is that in truth, it already was so. Daily morning meditation will change your reality, as well as make all decisions oriented in well being and creating effortless.

@Raptorsin7 That’s a tricky question of course. The only honest answer, though not satisfying to hear, is it’s unequivocally known when one should. So if there’s any question, contemplate / look into that question.

@Victor Mgazi Thanks. I appreciate the kind words. I’m really just communicating what I am also doing, so to speak. If it resonates, or ‘works’, it’s because The Truth is just so unbelievably Good. In thinking, there is often “two of me”. But this thinking is habitual and goes unnoticed. It “keeps the separate self going though”. A simple example: “I get so mad at myself sometimes!” It’s an innocent thought...but....it “divides”. The nature of the thought is thinking of myself, as if I were two different separate entities. The “ I “, in thought, is thought to be someone other than, “myself”. When these thoughts are noticed more, we begin to notice they are “write off’s”, or that they cover up what’s really going on with me. When I notice I think and talk in terms of “I get so mad at myself”... I begin to look more at what’s really going on with me. This naturally leads to being more aware of thoughts, feelings, and emotions...which “shines the light of awareness”, and results in clarity & self realization. -

Sorry. ?? Believe it or not, it seems clear. I’ll explain more. If I “cross that line” of triggering, or offense, I apologize. Some people appreciate the direct message, some people claim it’s abusive. ??♂️ “I'm finding myself resisting to continue with this work because I know that it will literally be the death of me.” That’s just a thought you’re believing. You don’t know that, you believe that. You made up the belief of death. You believe in death because you aren’t contemplating your birth, and you aren’t acknowledging death is a thought which you are repeatedly believing (recreating a belief). It didn’t feel good or true the first, second and fiftieth time you believed it, and it never will resonate, because it is not true. You’re not making the distinction between direct experience and a belief of which you have zero direct experience. When you claim your belief (death) is true, it does not feel good. You assume you are already right about death. “Pride” is the feeling of being wrong, ignoring that feeling, and believing you are “right”. This is how you are creating the emotion, fear. You’re ignoring feeling, and choosing to be right about your belief in death. Then you’re “surprised” you don’t like how you feel (afraid). You’re choosing to ignore feeling and be right about your claim ( “I know that it will literally be the death of me” ). For the sake of satisfaction, enthusiasm, empowerment, passion, happiness, health, and well being...for the sake of resonating with every cell in the body, for the sake of the reality you want to be creating, and co-creating with others - choose thoughts that feel good to you. Be willing to let thoughts which do not feel good to you, go. Those thoughts do not serve you, or anyone else. “So after my last awakening which was the awakening to Love, an aspect or identity of God, I felt enormously loved and I could surrender myself to life.” Surrender the belief (in death). Thought creates. You’re creating the emotion fear, via pride in being right...at the expensive of how you feel. Why would you / why are you, doing this? Not “in general”, not “in a past”, not “in a future” - right now. Why do that, again, right now? Is it truly better for you to do this? To choose being right, over how you feel? Is there something you’re getting out of doing that? Is there something which you ‘put off’ (procrastinate) in life, by doing that? Does it serve you, or anyone else whatsoever, to deny your own feeling and truth? Choose the direction, of alignment with feeling, and you can create, do, be, and have - whatever you want in this experience. The same self which is not resonating in feeling, with that belief. You’ve dubbed “the work”, to accommodate the undesirable emotion. But without the belief - feeling, thought and emotion are in perfect accord. They were already. For you to find yourself doing anything, you’d have to split in two, and have a wall or something between you’s two’s. Hopefully helpful now, and for the trip. “You lost me here ?. Could you be more specific, more direct. Instead of typing "undesirable emotion" could you just type what that emotion is... Fear. and instead of typing "the belief" could you just type what you think that belief is.” Death. -
What feels wonderful is evident of self. Thank you. That felt wonderful.

The taste of an orange, at least could be said to be known. ’Death’ is not known - a belief about yourself is known. -

It’s literally now or never. -
@Dazgwny It’s the collective ego. It’s the same as transcending the personal ego. Once the message is truly heard, the suffering disappears. Same for the virus.

@TheGreekSeeker There’s no separation, which is ‘why’ the “identity” is created. Identity is created in-directly, not directly. Like “oh, well, I’m not a tree”. You are a tree, but you forgot ‘who’ you are. In the ‘instant Mind’ scenario, there’d be no experience / creation. Animals are of the opposite case, they are entirely ‘connected’. The sneakery of thought is such that we often miss that claims on behalf of the experience as an animal, is nothing more than a ‘human’ projection. Humans and animals are not the same in this way. Animals are what you’re calling the de facto state of Godliness. There’s no (in the spiritual sense) “devil” in the animal kingdom. If there was though, it’d be the cuckoo bird. -

@TheGreekSeeker Mind can forget itself, as it does, but to “suffer for gain” is going well beyond forgetting. It is the adding of a narrative which is not resonating, with Mind. It implies something is wrong with Mind, and suffering must occur to ‘fix’ Mind. Mind simply does not suffer, does not experience suffering, does not know what suffering is. Mind is too busy loving Itself. That’s really it’s gig. -
Nahm replied to Mongu9719's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TheGreekSeeker Yes, but not a collision of two, Mind appearing as such, that the assumption is there is the second, “mind”. Mind assumes. A neat little way to ‘see’ this, is to make a fist with your left hand and cover it with your right hand. Now remove the left hand. The remaining right hand implies there is something in the center, but there is Mind (Nothing). It is Mind which wrestles, as it forgot itself (aka “birth”). Also, there is no source of unhappiness and misery. This would be like covering a flashlight, and saying there is a source of darkness. It is only the forgetting which leads to the implication of any duality, whatever duality as a word might be applied to. The ‘can’t win the battle’ & ‘there never was one’, yes indeed. Very nice. (The explainations seem a bit different, as I am trying to ‘speak to’ your question while mindfully respecting the courage of the op, in making the thread) -

@Javfly33 Welcome to the major leagues of discovering just how sneaky thought is. There’s a reason there is historically the whole “Devil” thing. Half the world’s in such a deep denial, they’re actually believing this. Not you though. You’re doing the work. The heart is incorruptible. Thought is that sneaky. The reason certain thoughts about yourself feel terrible, is because your heart IS True! The “bad feeling” of such thoughts is the very evidence of your Goodness! Think about it. If you were just neutral, or bad - there’d be no resonance, no experience of alignment or discord between thought & feeling. But they’re is! Because you are Good! Yes, probably. Maybe ten times, maybe 100. Just take feeling off. Literally, like you would a coat. Just take feeling off, and set feeling on a chair. -

@TheGreekSeeker Nice. At this point, I’d say it’s the mind. ‘Spotting’ it, is to initially ‘realize’ there is something more to reality, to life. Something unseen & unheard, but there is something more. Then there is ‘discovering’ awareness in the direct sense, and that awareness is aware of the finite mind, which is the beginning of the ‘wrestling’. That could look like equanimity, then ego backlash, etc, for a while. It could also be said that there is another ‘spotting’, and that is that the finite mind, or ego, is the ‘source of suffering’. (That it is not in or of the world - in the sense it could be credited to circumstances and others, but my own) -

What if inspecting thoughts about ourselves that don’t ring true with the heart were a practice.
