  1. That’s not the problem, that’s the solution. You don’t need them, you want them.
  2. That’s the setup… that there’s a you, a your awareness, a this, and permanency. The punchline is there isn’t a you, such as ‘my awareness’ which could be permanent. You’re already eternal, but thoughts like that make it seem not so. Don’t underestimate your own sneakiness.
  3. There wouldn’t be any of this thought activity. No offense I hope, it’s an answer in the nature of the inquiry, but this is all beliefs. That narrative / interpretation just wouldn’t be there / exist.
  4. @Opo You sound pretty ‘ready’ to me. One thing that came to mind that I think was helpful was meditating wherever, public places, loving folks and so not caring what anyone thinks. I think that and the meditation, returning focus to feeling breathing from the stomach, made for a solid foundation. Start small, like you mentioned, and enjoy your path ? and great pic btw. Lot of truth right there.
  5. @FlyingLotus ? They call them laws immutable for good reason.
  6. Yes. Even more relevant than true or false, is the self evident factor that it just doesn’t feel good, is not indicative & agreeable with the true nature, or, your inner being can’t join you in that thought or belief, and that is felt (suffering). It’s a lot like the philosophical question of ‘is it really wrong to hurt people’. Hurt is self evident, and does not need a philosophy. No one really needs ‘reasoning’ to take their hand of the hot stove. There’s just the simplicity of the burn and the relief. Just how I size it up, not meant too literal… but ‘purification’ is a lot like a bunch of food one ate which didn’t taste good, but was eaten because ‘that’s what people’ eat. People eat (do) a lot of really, really poor tasting stuff. It all comes up & out, as if barfing food. It doesn’t taste any better on the way out. Worse in ways. But, it ain’t in you no more, and it ain’t getting fed from you to others. In some matters you just gotta be (get to enjoy being) the chain breaker. Osho also said ‘make your stomach your best friend’. Energy & creativity are so abundant they can not belong to anyone. Can’t be given. Can’t be taken. Can’t be found. Can’t be lost. Some conditioning of repulsion in regard to sex and expression is a majorly delightful realization. I wish I could say ‘it is not your fault’, ‘you are innocent’, ‘ never ever beat up on yourself’… and some how the communication would become the known actuality. But it just doesn’t work that way. We all gotta barf till we’re empty. Below resentments, blame, anger, unfairness, is sadness, and below that there is deep sorrow, and below that love is being all things.
  7. @mandyjw I remember watching Batman Begins and finding it rather insightful. Not just the spiritual metaphor, but really more so, that those are actually those actor’s names. I mean, just saying… if you’re into linguistic “synchronicities” & the ‘shedding of skins’ anymore at all, what a double doozy there.
  8. What was the reasoning to begin semen retention, as opposed to an arguably healthy moderation of masturbation & having sex? Is sex not an expression, like the mudras, of our being too? Again, arguably, nothing is more connective. Is a retention sometimes a suppression perhaps, an avoidance of letting something go? It is often said that all ailments have a spiritually corresponding explanation. For stomach ailment, there is said to be a belief or idea, usually about the separate self, which is held to be true but is not, and thus, is not ‘digestible’. Will vs no will could be such a belief / concept. ‘That I am stuck’ with a situation or circumstance could also be indigestible.
  9. Of all the kids I’ve talked to experiencing aimlessness, directionlessness, purposelessness, hostility and a sense of a lack of focus & attention, never once have I found a parent willing of introspection.
  10. @mandyjw I know right. Only some rich moron would pick a name like “Batman”.
  11. There is no assertion. Preparedness or not can not actually be a property of a body, because body is a thought. A label. An illusion. Let “spirituality” go. Get yourself some regular old talk therapy. Express and heal therein. The emotional scale can be most helpful is working through blame, via realizing it is not actual or actual of you in terms of identity, but is an emotion experienced, and is guidance. Blame is fleeting, the guidance is not. See through the former to realize & be the latter. The suffering is only the discordant self referential thoughts & beliefs. There is no actual ‘thing’: “kundalini”, as in, you are not the object to any subject, nor the subject to any object. (“The Kundalini is to much for me”….You be capitalizing the wrong word there brother.) There is the thought story of causation, there is not an actuality of two. Awakening does not create suffering. The Truth sets you free. You are perfect right now as you are. There is nothing wrong with you. Go prior to thought, to see you already are.
  12. @Opo How’s your life going? How are you feeling generally - and why? What’s your foundation look like? How healthy & happy are your relationships? How clean is your diet, and mind?
  13. @Zeroguy Manipulation is like wind. Breezy maybe, but rather uneventfull. Make threads. Express. Be in the front row.
  14. @Zeroguy You makes John D. Rockefeller the most enlightened being of all time. Again, no thank you.
  15. The you which agree’s or not is imaged as the imagining there is that which you agrees or not, with. An image taken to be real, on the back of the subtle believing of, two. There is never that which thoughts point to. Just a hijacking of your own efforts, again, and again, and again.
  16. @Nevon SO beautiful. Right in the feels. Thanks for sharing. Consider the flip side of ‘fully realize my true being’… letting thoughts to the contrary go… like ‘I come back to my ordinary state’. There are no states. You are the ordinary, mystically. There are only the thoughts about an I & it’s states. And maybe not even.
  17. “Material objects” Muah ah ah ah ah
  18. Daily morning meditation. There isn’t a self which is liberated, I can not become free, I is the bondage. There is the cessation of subject object and self referential thoughts.
  19. Awakened or not is thought activity, and awakening is not a product or a result of thought activity. If ever in question that is not ‘it’. Letting go of any questioning of it, can only be of it.
  20. @Arcangelo I think it’s been a couple years or so. Good lookin out though, thanks.
  21. That’s the belief to let go of then, the belief you need to purify your mind. It’s not a source of fear but of thoughts. Some thoughts don’t feel good, and that feeling is being labelled fear. Instead of accepting & labelling, focus on better feeling thoughts. Without thinking about yourself as separate, there can not be fear. Careful not to be the attorney for what you don’t want, defending it, making it’s case of why I can’t etc. If there isn’t clarity around doubt as an emotion rather than about you, this would be a good scale to learn. I agree, that does sound vague. Even to “just create” would sort of be going to far, or maybe to fast. You’re already creating. Fear, problems, etc. Those words point to focusing on what doesn’t feel good to you. There is only really one thought or perspective at a time. Even ‘the bigger’ picture isn’t really a bigger picture, just one thought about a bigger picture. A thought which is actually, now. If the one-at-a-time perspective which is presently focused on is ‘the problem’, then there can’t be the arising of the perspective ‘solution’. It must be let go to make space. That’s creation.
