  1. Hello people, I have come to conclusion that are mobile phones are very addictive. To be honest when I am not working I don't feel the need to check my phone every 10 minutes unlike a lot of humans. I have been like that in the past constantly checking on facebook, twitter, all shit really.. but now I have found better things to do than waste it on the zombie state android. I am not saying at all you should never use your phone of course, that would be crazy but you can be disciplined with yourself by turning it off!!! when either doing your routine, going out with friends or family. I know many may argue that your phone can be used in a positive way and that is also true yes but does anybody else feel they are heavy reliant on there mobile phone? I just wanted to share this as I have noticed friends and strangers that i meet are constantly looking down on there phones. My phone during my day is either left on but out of reach when I am doing routine or going to work as being disciplined with yourself can replace old habits. I usually have mine off for a good 5-6 hours that's a start for me. Just thought i would share this if anybody else feels like this please leave positive comments below peace
  2. @Cammy I recently finished my degree this summer and I am planning on going travelling in the new year, to explore see the beauty of the world too my inner self tells me to do this and i certainly will be doing this.
  3. Hey Guys for the last week or so I have had thoughts from past movie images crazy i know and thoughts about past and future. My breathing keeps going weird too. Can anybody help with this. I keep telling the I that it's the ego creating fear and thoughts to distract me. previously I would accept and surrender and the thoughts would go but for some reason this time the thoughts don't go away. Maybe meditate for a while? please any helpful suggestions.
  4. @Jhonny Good for you that you love morning!!! . I enjoy listening to the birds first thing in the morning. watching the sunrise with that fresh morning breeze is very enjoyable too.
  5. Hello guys, so last Monday I was in the pub with a friend and we were just chatting about stuff, and a man from across the bar came and sat with us. He told us that he was a druggy and had been doing mushrooms, weed, speed for 40 years. But then somehow we got on to the topic of spirituality and I was taken back by how much knowledge this druggy knew about zen masters etc... I was not judging him by no means, he also stated that he meditates quite a lot. So i was wondering do you think people who are druggies are closer to enlightenment than other's who don't take drugs? please feel free to share positive comments below peace
  6. @DimmedBulb You were going with the flow of life and enjoying the moment as it is you could meditate before guitar practice as it calms the mind. Try it out and see if you are more focused when playing guitar.
  7. @MochaSlap attending college will be good fun. But only you will know if it truly will benefit you, you will meet different kinds of people which is a bonus. But never do something that makes you unhappy. Look inside have a bit of time to yourself and don't rush by getting into the future. be calm and be happy it's your life!
  8. @Birdcage No matter your weight if that means being skinny or fat people should accept you regardless. I am quite slim myself and when you get people saying why are you so thin? they clearly are unconscious so i take it with a pinch of salt and don't react. As long you are happy and feel happy inside that's all that matters.
  9. @LoveLotus30 First thing I want to say to you is what i say very often to people which is you are enough. Most of us go through not knowing what we want to do in life then one day we try things, and then find passions. It's great you meditate and it's wonderful you have children too but ask yourself am i happy with what i am doing at this moment. Then you have choices either improve your situation or remove yourself from it to make you feel happier. By know means am i an expert i was very lazy when i was a teenager made bad decisions that's the joy of learning and making mistakes. Whenever i make a mistake i don't get sad or complain i just laugh and accept what is. do you have a positive routine that you do daily like walking, working out meditating? if not maybe apply that each day and see how it makes you feel. Try stuff find different ideas as I have been there before to afraid to give it a go but really you have nothing to lose I am sorry if this aint helpful
  10. @z2ludgfyyxnz I understand where your coming from. Just be happy by choosing something that makes you feel good inside. The system is what it is, but doing positive things and enjoying life to the fullest is the best gift. Don't rush anything try new ideas, university may not be the answer for you. But experiement with different stuff, you have nothing to lose by doing this. You are enough
  11. this can be a great lesson to learn from. I am sorry it is causing you a lot of stress. But be aware when the negativity comes your way don't slip into unconsciousness, be alert present and just observe the behavior. If you can improve the situation then that is great too.
  12. I meditate 20 minutes each day. Sit up so my back is erect and not slouched. And i allow thoughts to come and go and just observe them without judgment.
  13. @Bob84 thank you for you comment. I have had the audition now I meditated 30 minutes before and I felt calm and relaxed.
  14. I have suffered from heartbreak very recently. And the way i feel and as most people do after a long relationship is perfectly natural to feel hurt. But my advice to myself and others is don't be desperate searching for someone to make you feel complete, as you get mixed results. Being around friends and positive people who have your interests at heart make you feel great I do believe one day in the future (now) I may stumble across someone who accepts me for who i am and vice versa. Accepting and knowing that your enough is also liberating.
  15. Well after you have meditated and see results or change in your mindset. Then surely if it makes you happy that is the best result.
