  1. Hey Leo, I would be grateful for some input on balance towards stimulation from modern technology. I can spend hours on consuming information on the Internet, and my brain loves it, but in the end it gives me excessive thoughts, and I have a hard time being conscious and present after a session online. Do you think stimulation from modern technology (internet, youtube etc) have a bad impact on consciousness, or is this just me who get excessive thoughts and go unconscious after a youtube/internet session?
  2. Did you write this? Either way, thank you for sharing. It made me think deep about the art of balance and gave me some worthful insight.
  3. But do you agree that starches, vegetables and fruits are healthy and that these are the foods that the majority of your diet should contain off? I am no vegan or vegetarian, and I do not condemn meat in any way. I eat organic but also processed meat every now and then, but I would never eat it in excess which is what most people do. One more question, do you consider organic meat to be healthy the same way starches, vegetables and fruits are healthy?
  4. So how much meat are you eating on this diet? The WHO recommends a maximum of 500 grams a week! Im all for OMAD, most monks eat one or two meals a day, but they are vegetarians. Starches, fruits and vegetables are what most scientist agree on is healthy food.
  5. Nice thread :-) I have a powerful routine, but still I feel I can do much more, so thats why I am moving to India together with a friend of mine in March. If anyone want to join us, please pm :-) I wake up at 06.00 and do nose cleansing with Yogi´s nosebuddy Then I do Upa Yoga for 30 minutes and then I do some stretching exercises (Knee rocking, Butterfly, etc to prepare for full lotus. Then I do mindful prostration (10 minutes) and walking meditation for 30 minutes, and at last 2 hours sitting meditation where the last 30 minutes I do self-inquiry. Later in the day I do another hour of meditation and before bed I do yoga nidra for 20 minutes.
  6. I got in to self-help about 4 years ago and "lifestyle minimalism" about two years ago. I have changed my life a lot for the better, but it was not before I discovered actualized.org a year ago it really got a kickstart. I have been minimizing my life and have changed the environment around me to best possible support the self-actualization journey and my path to Enlightment. However, I feel I can do much more. And after discovering Sahd Guru/Isha foundation and the School of Yoga, I was hooked on the idea on going to India, so that is what I am doing. The school starts 9 July - 3 Dec, but I am going to India in March to find a good environment to live to continue my work before I go to school. After I finish the school in Desember I am going home for Christmas and then I will probably move back again in January. From what I have heard from people is that once you get to India you dont want to leave, so I hope that is the case with me. If anyone here is keen on the Idea on moving to India with me, that would be just awesome :-) The school cost 10 grand but that is included accomodation and food for the entire 5 months. However if you are not going to the school you can live a reasonable life on 300 USD a month (!!) So there is no excuse to say that you dont have the opportunity because of money. If anyone is interested check out a video from the school here.
  7. Not sure if this has mean mentioned or discussed before. I am just amazed at what is possible.
  8. @Leo Gura I have an idea of something I think would be very helpful for us who are serious about the path. What if you had a section for paying members where you share more of your journey on the path. Share stuff like what you are researching, seminars you go to, people you are talking to and learning from. A place where you can discuss and share your ideas and thoughts to members who are serious and on the same path.
  9. Not a honest, true story about the history. Propaganda the other way around.
