You're talking to me across a window, just 200 years from now, nobody has even had a thought about it. It doesn't matter how crazy it sounds, the very moment you deny the possibility of something to happen, you're closing your mind to the truth. There is no opinion to have, I'm not saying we will walk through walls, I'm saying that I dont know and that I'm open to the possibility, that's all. This is the core problem of some spiritual seekers, they still have beliefs, firm belief of how reality works, and that's the very reason these people will be stuck at some point. Don't think because some enlightened people tell you something that it is necessary true, being enligtened doesn't mean you have access to all the experience, therefore to all the wisdom, it just mean you see reality from an another perspective. -
For the newbies, don't forget to switch the main question if it doesn't click. For me personnally, "what I am" works better than "who I am".

How do you know ? Maybe there is states of consciousness that feels responsible for everything that ever happened, maybe the stage of consciousness that the sages had were only a fraction of what the human species is capable of ... How could there be a limit ? Why would a limit even exist ? Yes, right now we have temporary physical limitations, or to be more true, we think that we have temporary physical limitations, which again, limits our perceptions. Rali says that you can't move though a wall, as obvious as it seems, I will never believe that you can't, because that is a limiting belief. "The belief of a limit, is the limit itself" ... -
Just remembered this blog, kind of interesting to read http://www.wakingtimes.com/2014/11/14/god-true-teachings-jesus/

One of the most powerful habit I had, and that I'm trying to take it back, is to listen to Epic Music 1 to 2 times a week. Not only it will make you think about deep subjects, but it will also fuel you to do the shit you have to do in order to grow. It is helping me to grow the balls to start taking a Self-Inquiry meditation. I've always been scared of it, I realize it now, I tried to mask it by thinking I had to to things in order, starting slow, and in a sense it was required, but deep down I know it was a lie, that I had to tame the ego first to let it accept the idea of killing it. I'm still scared, but It is also a deep attraction melted with excitation, like a girl who's really in love with you but take his time to make you understand that she's awesome, and I'm now at the evening of the first date ^^

The right thing to do is the most emotionally difficult one.

Hi everyone, For some months now, I have this theory of infinity in my mind, it really could rationally explain why God (we) is (are) pure love. Sure, you don't need to rationalize it to feel it, but I have time to kill and dream these days. Feel free to report the post if the same theory has been discussed before, I won't mind. So, what if every quark was an universe in itself, and every universe was a quark, and every one of them has an infinite number of alternate and parallel sisters and brothers ? I'm talking in both directions of course (our universe is a quark, and our quarks are universes). Very open minded people doesn't need theories to believe in something, but I guess, when science will evolve so much that we will be able to prove some of these theories, it will be the end of dogma (like in 50-10 000 years ^^). PS: I used the name quark, but the name doesn't really matter, we all know we'll find something smaller (and it might even go small an infinite number of times).

Maybe it worked for you this way, but everyone is different, because everyone has a another web of beliefs, And most people, aren't open-minded at all, they need to see the light bit by bit to start to believe in it. Even the most open-minded people rarely go into spiritual stuff, they like to talk about it, but they don't do any practical stuff at all.

If he laughs, doesn't apologize or/and try to understand your point of view, he's not your friend.

Well, this is a tricky situation, because a girlfriend/boyfriend can really make your life better, and it can take a while untill you realize that the relationship isn't fulfilling you.

This is a step by step process, you can't help these kind of people by telling them such abstract concepts as "there is no you". There are people on this forum who really needs to realize that the way you see the world is so different than regular people, That they can't even understand 5% of what you're talking about, let alone understand it. Put yourself at their place, how did you think back then, what was your struggles, and if you never were at their place (or at least in somewhat similar situations), don't answer just for the sake of answering unless you have a very precise and easy knowledge to share. These people needs practical advices, you're just confusing them even more that what they are. EDIT: Sorry for the english I'm tired.

Read "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" from Robert Cialdini, it will help to detect the people you should avoid.

And the more you want it back, the less likely it will happen. -

You can expect to fail many times during the first few months, don't blame yourself for it and just keep doing it until it becomes totally natural.

Jerk off when you wake up, and again just before the interview.

Simple question: Does walking and being mindfull of nature and our own bodies and thoughts counts as a meditation practice ? Does someone here practice this kind of meditation if it's one ? How do you practice it if this is the case ?
-
I'm not talking about something that specific. I love hiking, and I have very huge sense of oneness with nature when I do it. These kind of things:
-
Do you meditate ? If not, make it a habit. There is no shame or guilt to have about whatever you do, because all you do is part of your conditioning, by society, friends, wife, whatever. The sole fact that you truly want to be a better person, means that you're doing more than 99.999% of people. You have the will to do it, and with that, you won't fail, not if you think strategically. Also, If you think by doing more stuff, whatever it is, will complete you, it's not going to work (it's the exact opposite of how it works actually ^^). I can't really answer to you more deeply about that, you should give more specifics about why you feel guilty, what you do, what you think you should do, and why you think you don't do it. I'll try to answer anyway. There is nothing wrong by feeling any kind of emotions too, that means when you feel guilt, don't suppress it, but ask yourself why, and try to understand very deeply why you feel guilty. For example, I feel guilty if I play too much video games in the day, without any other activities. My daily habits is to meditate and walk the dog, if I do only that and nothing else, the guilt comes because I didn't push myself. So the thing is to do a bit more than your daily routine, but not too much either. The best thing to do is to make a new habit of your free time, by using this extra time. A habit sticks only if you start slow and try to make one at a time. After some months, you can add a new habit if you are sure the old one has become a routine. To know if a habit has become a routine, feel if you have any kind of resistance when you start it, if you do, then it's not a routine yet. Top 3 habits to have: Meditation -----> You become more conscious of how your mind works, how it deceives you, and how you can silence it (partially) to enjoy life in a much deeper way. Sport -----> It's solely for having more energy, it also makes it harder to have any kind of depression. Reading (especially psychology and spiritual books) -----> It will gives you all the insights you need to supress all the bullshit in your head, which leads to supress all the problems of your life. You will also have the maps of how to succeed to anything at life. (((I count Leo's videos and other teachers as part of this habit too, although it's a different format)))

Today I was kinda bored, after playing some video games, I was like, what the fuck I am going to do with my afternoon ? So I decided to go to my local forest, hiking a bit. The first 15 minutes I started to shut down my mind, to have the less thoughts possible during the walk. After a while, I could sense the pre-thoughts coming, and most of my thoughts couldn't come up anymore. In the meantime I was enjoying the scenery, stopped at some point to admire the trees in their entirety. And then, there was this tree which felt different from the others, I was fixing its trunk for like 10 seconds. I had this feeling that I wasn't separate from the tree at all, although there was at least 5 meters between us. I was seeing the scene by my own eyes, but it felt like the tree wasn't just a tree, but an integral part of me. I had an idea popping in my head 5 minutes later, so I approach an another tree. I put my hands on it, and I tried to feel the void again, clearing any thoughts, even the thought that wants to supress the thoughts. My hand wasn't my hand, but A hand, and the tree, was equal to my hand at this moment ! Then I came back to the starting point of my walk, which consist of a park with some attractions for the kids, there is also some bunnies and sheeps. As I was walking through the park, every person and kids that I was seeing was just pure energy moving threw reality. It was as if everything was 1000% more alive than I sense it before. When I looked at people faces (or animals), their gazes felt like I was looking at me, threw their eyes !

Nobody said that we must cling to Leo's ideology. Leo's only giving us the tools, and since he still has an ego, he could be biaised (just like anyone else) by his culture. That doesn't mean what he says isn't true, that means you should always interpret what he says (where he came from, what his life is now). Don't be a skeptical maniac though, most of what Leo's says is pretty accurate, and his cultural background has very little influence on it.

There is one critical thing you didn't mention, homeostasis. All you mention is great, but you can't do that without thinking strategically. YOU MUST know what homeostasis is if you want to eradicate your addiction/self-actualize, otherwise you will fail:
-
By believing it, your mind will try to know if it's true by direct experience work. By not knowing it, your mind wouldn't be conscious of it, therefore it wouldn't seek direct experience to prove if these theories are true or not. If I didn't know a relationship can't fulfill me, I would put the blame on my current girlfriend instead of doing self-actualization work.
