  1. Sleep is not a waste of time. The person who cannot sleep rightly cannot live rightly. It is very important for a meditator to see to it that he sleeps properly and enough. But I am telling you to sleep, not to keep on lying on the bed!

  3. Nepal is the land of Buddha, it is easier to grow spiritually in an eastern civilization. Sacrifice everything for this ultimate because this is the only thing that will make you contented. If you turn your back on it, you no longer see any meaning in it. The American dream is becoming more and more materialistic. Total crimes per 1000 persons in US is 112 times more than Nepal. For many Americans, the influx of immigrants hurts their prospects significantly. Many Republicans (33%) as Democrats (16%) support cutting legal immigration into the U.S. Number of people receiving immigrant visas to live in America dropped 12 percent in just the first two years of the Trump presidency. Sigmund Freud said, "America is a mistake; a gigantic mistake, but a mistake." Poverty is a crime in America. The problem of “high fines and misdemeanors” exists across many parts of the country. As a result, poor people lose their liberty and often lose their jobs, are frequently barred from a host of public benefits, may lose custody of their children, and may even lose their right to vote. Immigrants, even some with green cards, can be subject to deportation.
  4. There are illiterate people in villages in India who become possessed by a ghost, and when they are possessed you can ask questions and they answer. I think, channeling is an American translation of the old idea of being possessed, and word ‘channeling’ has come from television. The poor and illiterate people in countries like India cannot think of channeling, that word is not yet meaningful to them. Channeling has no spiritual significance. I don't know why anybody becomes interested in it.
  5. Many saints are adamant that we should be celibate, they recommend celibacy to every seeker ! Oh my gosh, look ... what they actually do! He says he is the most watched Guru on YouTube.
  6. Neither be repressive nor be indulgent. Be watchful, be alert. Fighting with your own energies, you are fighting with yourself, you cannot win. Many saints/masters emphasis on celibacy is not because they are against sex, it is about simply making a different use of it, a positive use of sex energy. If you make celibacy your goal, you will become pervert or insane. A celibacy without meditation is nothing but sexual repression. All that brings you again and again to sexuality has to be dropped slowly, in steps. Only meditation can be taught, celibacy is the result. As meditation ripens, celibacy comes to fruit by itself. All effort is to be put into meditation. Masturbation/porn addiction is the absence of meditation. Your meditation is not ripened.
  7. Yogi is dedicated to Yoga practice, he follows path of yoga. It is not necessary that every mystic or saint is a Yogi. We recognize saint by his outer behavior, way of life. Mother Teresa is known in the Roman Catholic Church as Saint Teresa. She was neither a mystic nor a Yogi. A mystic can be Yogi or he can enter into divine from other paths.
  8. @kieranperez Try to improve your overall health and quality of life. 1. Make a time table and try to follow it everyday. 2. Walk in morning and evening regularly, empty stomach. Walk very slowly, meditatively. Keep your body loose especially lower belly (abdomen) and shoulders. 3. Don't breathe from chest, always breathe from belly (abdomen), try to keep your belly relaxed all day. 4. Eat slowly, chew food properly, drink water many times a day, sleep well, wear loose clothing, don't talk too much. 5. Don't do anything which exhausts you, like watching too much TV, playing too much video games etc. Relax the circumference of your being , relax your body, relax your behavior, relax your acts. Walk in a relaxed way, eat in a relaxed way, talk, listen in a relaxed way. Slow down every process. Don't be in a hurry and don't be in haste.
  9. @moon777light At the time of construction of these Pyramids, there was no electric power. They might have used fire batons to go into the Pyramids. However, there are no traces of smoke chars on the walls or roof-bottom of the Pyramids. The paths inside the Pyramids are very lengthy, curved, twisted and dark. Had there been any usage of oil lamps, batons or fireplace, some indications must have been there. In such case, a doubt may arise as to how people wandered inside the Pyramid. If there is no need for anybody to go into the Pyramid, then why were so many paths laid in it? There are many steps, places to sit, windows, doors etc. Why were all these provided inside the Pyramid, when there is no light at all? That is a mystery. They must be using some form of energy to see in the dark.
  10. We call them saints because they are adamant that we should be celibate, it creates very difficult situation for an ordinary seeker.
  11. Even Mahatma Gandhi at the age of seventy was having wet dreams, so what to say of others? Forty years he struggled to remain celibate, and the only result was that he was having wet dreams. He believed that unless sexual energy is controlled your spirituality remains imperfect. Brahmacharya can't be practiced, it happens when sex really disappears, without any repression, when it disappears through meditation or prayer.
  12. Meditation is for intellectual type, prayer is for emotional type person, both are the same. If you are honest with yourself, there is nothing with a religion.
  13. Yes, few persons in India were able to become inwardly rich, but the millions, the masses, remained outwardly poor.
  14. It holds religious significance for many Indians who follow this ritual according to which eating and taking a shower during a lunar eclipse is morally wrong. Different beliefs, superstitions, and practices in connection with the lunar eclipse are plenty across the India. I don't know what India have achieved following these practices, except we have produced too many enlightened masters in our history.
  15. Newton saw the fruit falling, he didn't see the tree rising up.
  16. Meditation is certainly for the gambler, not for the businessman. In all other ways of gambling we put something at stake, and in meditation we put ourselves at stake. One never knows whether one will be able to make it or not. It is a gambling, but only the gamblers know what life is. When you realize that everything else is waste of time then only you can know the divine.
  17. Exactly, watching without judgement or expectation, totally relaxed!
  18. Cup is not filled to the brim, when you are pure awareness, all your questions drop, then you don't need answers.
  19. @Sashaj Whatever work it is, be total in it. The more you put yourself into work the deeper you can go into relaxation.
